I have been waiting for crawfish season and it is here. We were driving to Natchez and were passing through Vidalia. We saw the sign and all of the cars so we pulled in. I ordered 2 lbs. of crawfish, some corn and sauces. I don't know how much a I paid and don't care. The crawfish came out hot, were stuffed in a bag with the corn and away we went.. These folks know there stuff.

Sometimes we get lucky and find that special place where food is part of the community, the recipes, flavors are unique to the families that grew up in a region and have a gift with food. Forget the tourist traps in Natchez, cross the Mississippi and go to C&M and order G’s meal!

Little take-out shack with a flooded parking lot where we got the best shrimp and crab boiled dinners. Served in a bag which we poured out on our plates at home. Glad I had to peel the shrimp so I couldn’t eat too fast. My husband had to stop me. Two orders were enough for two meals each. Would definitely repeat if we come back to the area.

Great place to great crawfish. This place is very small and does a great take out business. We got the 5 pound special with potatoes and corn and ate outside on one of the picnic tables. They were spiced perfectly. Lonnie the owner was very friendly and when he saw our bottled water was running low he brought us more on the house. He also brought us more napkins as eating crawfish can be messy. While we ate our meal at least 20 people came in for take out so the place is hopping. The food and service is great.

We purchased the crawfish special.....5 pounds of crawfish with corn and potatoes. They were seasoned nicely....enough to taste but not so much you couldnt stand the heat! Nice little set up, order and leave or you can eat there at the outside tables. Friendly help. TERRIBLE PARKING LOT though!!!!!

The seasoning on these is excellent! The flavor and size of the crawdads was perfect and for travelers, this is a great experience of Louisiana cuisine! I would recommend this to anyone as long as they are prepared for: 1. Crawfish boil style eating. You will have to tear them apart to get at the meat. This can be so much fun, or it can ruin it, depending on how squeamish your family is. 2. Taking it to go. There is a place to sit down outside, but its right by a really muddy parking lot and where they throw out the trash. It can smell really bad. Best to leave and enjoy the mudbugs elsewhere. (We ate overlooking the river in Natchez. Perfect!) 3. Making a mess. Make sure you have napkins galore.... or plastic gloves... or a hose.

We read other reviews on this place, and it seemed everyone was raving about the food so we drove over there -- well, we drove by it twice before we found it. It's more of a roadside food bin -- but OH HOW GREAT THE FOOD WAS. Probably the best shrimp I've ever had and the crab legs, sausage, and veggies were perfect compliments to it all. There were a couple of outside tables one could sit outside, and we took advantage of the cool evening on our particular visit, but be aware this is no indoor dining at this one. But whether eating curb side or picking up an order to take back to your abode you will NOT be disappointed in the friendly staff or the great food. A delightful experience.

They have the best crab legs we have ever ate. The crawfish and shrimp are very good, also. Very friendly staff. I think we will get some tonight.

Got a 5 lb crawfish dinner and it was really a treat. The staff were amazingly friendly to people they knew and even us out of town strangers! You gotta try this place! Take out only -- unless the weather allows sitting outside on picnic tables.

The market drives crawfish prices and I don't know if they will ever come down to a reasonable level. So if you are going to spend your money, get good crawfish. C&M has the best prepared crawfish in this area for sure. No dining area, so be prepared to take them home. Corn and potatoes are always well prepared. Sausage in the boil is OK, and adds a nice snack. I have limited experience with their other offerings, but they typically have shrimp and crabs; plus prime rib on Monday.

Had fresh crawfish and shrimp. Seasoned well with the appropriate amount of seasoning. REALLY GOOD! This is a small place that is mostly take out. WIll definitely eat here again.

We bought crawdads, shrimp, corn and potatoes. Our cashier even gave us a lesson on how to eat a crawdad, which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed everything. It all was delicious. Definitely is something you need to try when you are in the area.

Let's start by letting you known C&M is owned & operated by the most polite & hard working couple. They genuinely love people & you can tell by their product they put everything they have into every batch. C&M boasts delicious items besides for their always clean & fresh crawfish (available live or boiled), they also offer delicious shrimp & blue crab. On Thursdays they run a prime rib special that never disappoints plus they'll deliver! This is the only place my husband and I would ever get our live seafood or crawfish from.
