The tamales were dry and they have one small sauce for a dozen so we had to buy 2 additional. Then they flipped the screen around for a tip… on sauces….. mind you they don’t bring anything to your table.

Oh. My. Gahhh. Do yourself a favor and get The Natchez Nachos Southwest, some cornbread, a lil cup of those fire and ice pickles and a few tamales… you may be full ‘til tomorrow, but you will have a great experience today! I’m not saying we ate all that… but… anyway, don’t miss out on their famous margaritas either (mango is my fave)! But like Mr Burton used to say on Reading Rainbow, don’t take my word for it… got get you some!!!

Funny how the Gringo Pie went from 8 to 14 to $16.00. Pass.

I never liked tamales before this place! Their pickles are also incredible.

This place is amazing. Food and service are equally amazing. My wife and I camp in Meadville (we live in the Baton Rouge area) twice a year to getaway and drive 45 minutes out of our way just to go to Fat Mama's. They never disappoint.

The tamales used to be so good the last few years they are just totally drying can I eat them. However the Margaritas are okay and if you prefer water or another beverage they have that also. Of course the pickles are still delicious.

The Assistant Manager was so nice and helpful with my visit. She also suggested a great margarita flavor that I loved!
