The Fish House has just lost a customer tonight. As long as I've been going there, the fish sandwiches have always come with 2 pieces of fish and tonight I had only one in between that massive bun. I called back expecting it to be a mistake and the lady told me that the sandwich only comes with one strip of fish. I said well mine have always come with 2 strips then she said well it was a mistake and should only come with one. I asked for a refund and she said they do not give refunds. Never again will they get my money.
Popcorn shrimp was really good. Curly fries are solid as well.

Not the Southern hospitality I was hoping for.
I spent a little over $55 and was honestly disappointed with the overall experience. The gumbo had a burnt smell & was dry and the plates were extremely small, and even simple requests weren’t met.
I asked for the po’boy sauce on the side — the portion was tiny — and the sandwich came with no tomatoes, barely any lettuce, and missing the extra starter sauce I paid for. The gumbo was dry, the food was bland, and the portions were shockingly small for the price.
I really try to support small businesses when I visit little towns, but experiences like this make it hard. It felt like tourists were being taken advantage of, and that’s truly unfortunate.
I hope they take this feedback seriously — small businesses have so much potential, but consistency and care matter!

Fryed oysters out of a can the size of a peanut. Total ripe off. Never again

Expensive and small portions. They don't sell catfish filets, only skinny strips. Some are nice back meat and others musty belly meat. Literally, a platter amounts to about one decent size filet. Fish looks and tastes like a frozen pre-breaded product. Won't go back.

I spent $35 on 2 plates like this! Which equals $70 in TODAYS MONEY! I got 2 large catfish plates with 2 extra pieces of fish (1 on each) & this was this the result! I called to try an consult and they told told me I got what I ordered in so many words! Would’ve did better ordering from ROUX61 & they are higher! Just trying to save a struggling community money! Don’t support & highly pissed!!
