Magnolia Grill in Natchez, Mississippi
First off, there was no wait time at all, which was a great start. Parking was easy to find, and it was just a short walk to the front of the restaurant. There is also a side parking lot available, along with outdoor seating, which is a nice option, especially with the river view.
The restaurant is perfectly situated overlooking the Mississippi River on the Louisiana side, and we arrived right at sunset. The sky was absolutely beautiful and felt very magical.
The host was welcoming and seated us immediately. Our waitress was very kind, informative, and attentive. The restaurant felt homey but still very organized and comfortable. Our food and drinks came out quickly, which we really appreciated.
I was dining with my mom and sister. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were highly recommended on Google and also by our waitress, and they did not disappoint. The grits were very flavorful and easy to eat. They were not gritty or hard to chew like I have had in other places. They were well seasoned, and the sauces that came with the dish were so good, honestly out of this world. We also ordered the pan fried red snapper with a baked potato and cheese grits, the Samburger, and my side was the grilled zucchini. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and all three of us agreed.
There was a chalkboard special featuring crab and crawfish bisque, and it was excellent. It was very flavorful and set the tone perfectly before our entrees came out. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes with hollandaise sauce, which were cooked very well with a great crust and great seasoning.
For drinks, I ordered the Nutty White Russian, which was made perfectly, and my mom had the pomegranate margarita, which was also delicious.
There was also a dessert special, the key lime cheesecake, and I completely approve. I make my own cheesecakes, and it is hard to find a really good one, but this cheesecake was excellent. It had a smooth top layer that paired perfectly with the key lime flavor. The texture was very smooth, and to me, it was very delicious. The top layer on the cheesecake was especially good.
This was my first time actually stopping in Natchez instead of just passing through, and I truly enjoyed myself. Magnolia Grill is highly reviewed on Google for a reason. They even stayed open until nine on a Sunday evening, which is rare and one of the reasons we stopped since we were running out of time.
I highly recommend Magnolia Grill and will definitely be back. I have already bragged about it to others, and next time I would love to visit during the daytime just to take in the beautiful view in daylight.

Great place to go and get a quality late night meal on a Sunday! Good food awesome service quick seating solid selection wonderful experience overall.
Magnolia Grill is one of those almost nostalgic feeling riverside seafood cafes. Prices are reflective of a waterfront establishment. Food is excellent quality and decently portioned. Staff is friendly and professional while still feeling welcoming and warm.

Magnolia Grill is located in the Under-the-Hill area of Natchez. The food is delicious and the dining room offers an expansive view of the Mississippi. Our server was wonderful and really enhanced our dining experience but the wonderfully prepared entrees were definitely the stars of the evening. Pork tenderloin with a delicious pecan glaze was terrific, accompanied by grilled asparagus and baked sweet potato. The menu offered a wide variety of entrees, sandwiches sides and desserts. Off-street parking is available on the side of the restaurant.
Food was amazing. The view outside was beautiful.

Really lovely looking out onto the river.
Food very tasty but far too much of it+ the main course came out before we were done with starters. Probably just as well because we couldn't finish either. But there was so much food on the table.
When it says fried it means deep fried which was great just not what we expected.
White wine was nice and big glasses but not very cold.
