Great place to eat good food

Sheree Smith

I have eaten at amazing restaurants all over the world. I would never have expected Magnolia Grill in Natchez MS, to offer perhaps the best Red Fish ever. I ordered shrimp and fish, a friend ordered the Red Fish. It was so good I chatted incessantly and switched plates without them realizing. The service was great. The restaurant is definitely dated, if you go during summer, bring a sweater.
The burger is a solid 8.5, the crab stuffed mushrooms were also delicious. I look forward to going back.

Parking: Probably depends most on time of day. A short walk may be necessary but it’s near the water and very lovely.

This was EXACTLY what we were looking for for a night out with friends. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Not to mention the gorgeous sunset view of the river. We had the bayou egg rolls for our appetizer and the only complaint I had was that there weren’t more to eat lol. The sweet chili sauce that was served with it was an awesome addition to it. I had the chicken under the hill and it was cooked perfectly and juicy and the asparagus and stuffed potato was delicious. My husband had the magnolia burger and he was it was one of the best burgers he’s ever eaten (and that’s a hefty compliment coming from him). We will definitely be back on our next trip to Natchez.

We were passing through and did a search for restaurants. Magnolia Grill was an excellent choice! A quaint place in the historic area.
Our server was Cody. He was awesome! He recommended the crab and shrimp bisque. It was delicious! Food came out fast. It was hot and delicious.
Would love to go again!

The food was very good, they served us even though they had 20 minutes left to close, and even though they passed closing time with us inside, they didn't tell us anything and they served us well. Very well priced.

That was cafeteria food at best. Fish and chicken were dry. A “no go” was the crawfish sauce both on the fish and even worse on the green tomatoes. Completely overcooked crawfish, probably from being kept warm for too long. The chef should be shown how to prepare catfish and crawfish at the “Downtown Grille” in Greenville. A $150 dinner worth $20….??‍♂️

Service was great! We ordered the grilled shrimp and the fried shrimp. LOVED the grits - would have ordered more if I had room for it!

Decided to go in site unseen, the five of us were hungry and it didn't disappoint. Portion sizes are generous, my grilled catfish was enough for me to take some home. Try the fried pickles and the sweet potato. Friendly service, family atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

We were so very disappointed in this place. We ate there a couple years ago and did not have the problem we had this weekend. My husband has severe allergies to sesame and sunflower. He ordered a beer. Sweet waitress came to take our order (not her fault at all). Hubby asked her to check seasonings etc for allergies. She came back and said the chef said everything they have is seasoned with sesame and sunflower! Husband said….so you mean I can’t order anything? She said no, I’m sorry! He said, well I guess we will leave then! She said we didn’t have to pay for the beer. Oh, that’s nice! We have never been anyplace where everything in the house is seasoned with sesame and sunflower! We are pretty sure the chef just didn’t want to dink around with a special order with allergies. If you have any sort of allergies….stay away from this place!
