It is our first time in Natchez and we stopped by for a few drinks this morning but left empty handed. We got asked a couple of times if we were there for breakfast and let them know we were not. There was 1 person working the register/making drinks and several others standing around. We decided we were going to go somewhere else and walked out the door. No complaints, remarks, long faces, etc, we just filed out. We were told to have a good day by someone who was setting near the door. We walked a few stores down and were standing on the sidewalk trying to figure out where we were going next when a minute or so later a woman came out of the coffee place and yelled down the sidewalk in a rude tone ‘did you ladies want something?’ I told her ‘no, we decided to go somewhere else.’ She screamed back ‘well she was busy!’ To say I am glad we dodged that bullet and didn’t put any of our money in her pockets is an understatement. I’ve never seen anyone yell at someone down the street just because they walked out of a business without ordering. I guess I should have read the previous reviews before choosing this spot.
We were new to this area. Picked this as a breakfast place. Mr Robert was very nice and friendly! We walk in, no greeting, just figure it out! Breakfast served from a Buffet, luke warm, not alot to choose from. 17$ each plate, really!! Waitress very rushed, not friendly. Will not be back! Very disappointed!!
Mr. Robert serves up the best breakfast buffet on the weekends! We always enjoy visiting with him!
Great place for coffee and good.
Very helpful service and lots of indoor seating.

You don't find many places like this anymore! Old brick building with wood floors and double-high ceilings, all the baked goods are homemade, and warm and friendly hospitality.

The lady's attitude was nasty. When I walked in, people stared like I was in the wrong place, which made me feel unwelcome. This was not my first time visiting this place, but the vibe was totally different this time. Plus, she messed up my frappe.

It was a great morning to meet another eXp Realty to talk business with a “Cup of Joe” at 509 Franklin Street in Natchez, MS. This was my first time to try the Natchez Coffee Company, and it didn’t disappoint! From the front door, the employees were hospitable to welcome and seat me. I chose to order a cappuccino, and a cinnamon roll off the menu. I noticed they offer many options on the chalk-board menu above the counter bar such as, coffee, espresso, tea, flavored cappuccinos, smoothies, fruit, sandwiches, salads, and blue bell ice cream to name a few. The smell of sourdough bread baking was phenomenal. The vintage memorabilia is so unique to the area. As I was doing business, it was important to have wireless internet, and it was available. I love Natchez! This historic downtown takes you back in time. Natchez Coffee Company is located within walking distance of downtown hotels and a number of Natchez area B & B’s and is located the middle of downtown shops. The Natchez Coffee Company is definitely a tourist stop that I plan to revisit!
Parking: Typical parking that you find in downtown settings on the street - parallel parking.
Kid-friendliness: kids would love the fun atmosphere and memorabilia
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp for access and rails in bathroom area

We got to the breakfast buffet late, so the potatoes were dried out. Kind of odd to have someone serving the food, because a buffet is usually when you just serve yourself. The only reason I can think of is that they wanted to conserve the food. Dunno. Anyway, it was ok, not spectacular, about what you might get from a standard hotel breakfast buffet. For example, the eggs seemed to have come from a carton, and the pancakes from a mix. It was filling and I was grateful to have the food, but the cost was way more that I would expect for that level of quality. The best part is that the servers are so gracious and attentive. That will make me come back!
UPDATE: The response to my review was not nice, using Karen as a derogatory term. A “Karen” is someone who calls the law or management about issues where such infractions don’t require it.
This is a place to state opinions, which is not quite the same as calling the law about a breakfast buffet. Other customers deserve to know before choosing where to eat. It was an honest review. I noted that we arrived late as the reason the food was dried out, and also noted that service was exemplary (with this exception).
Eggs out of a carton is not a crime, but “Buffet” is a strong descriptive to what was offered. Buffet usually means a variety of fruits, breads, and style of eggs. I’m not sure why there is a health problem with self-serve buffet there unless people are putting drugs in the food or spitting on it.
Natchez struggles to keep businesses alive, and you are not helping. I can see from other reviews that when people are unhappy, the response is smarmy and immature. It would be much more professional to say “thanks for the feedback.” Opinions are good for making improvements, so it would behoove you to listen. You may be the only restaurant in town serving a breakfast buffet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be closed down by honesty.

It took 15 minutes to get waited on despite only 1 other customer. My Reuben sandwich was pretty good ...the meat not particularly tasty but their homemade bread was very good.
The potato salad was different and very tasty but had a big uncooked potato chunk in it.
