My husband and I stayed at the Monmouth Inn for a couple of nights. Although we did not eat a meal we did stop in for dessert and martinis. The dining room is lovely but we chose to eat in the cozy Quitman Lounge. The bartender was very friendly and his chocolate martinis were terrific. The white chocolate bread pudding was absolutely amazing and one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Take time to look at some of the memorabilia in the lounge.
We had an outstanding experience at 1818. George, our waiter, did an amazing job. George’s knowledge of the food and the history of the place was exceptional, and he was incredibly personable throughout our meal. The location itself is beautiful, and the food was nothing short of extraordinary. We highly recommend 1818 if you enjoy fine dining in a unique, memorable setting.
Excellent spot with fantastic food. The server was quite adept despite juggling multiple tables. The restaurant is in a beautiful antebellum home which has been lovingly restored and decorated. Both of our mains were exceptional.
Don't miss reserving a table at Restaurant 1818 in Natchez. It is truly an amazing experience. Beautiful room and absolutely great food!
What a lovely place, and the mushroom soup was the best I've ever had. Absolutely recommend.
My husband and I were staying at the Inn and decided to eat in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was excellent. Other than I ate too much, I have no complaints. Lol. I hope to get back there again.
Highlight dinner on our self guided tour through AL and MS. Did not disappoint. Owners are from N.O. so focus on those menus items. The blackened redfish was memorable

Amazing! We had Castle of Dunleith the evening prior and it was amazing as well but 1818 was our favorite!!!

We visited Restaurant 1818 while visiting Natchez. It is definitely the nicest restaurant we visited while there! The house is beautiful and the atmosphere was very nice! Our waiter, George, I think was great! They food was delicious and very well presented! Don't miss taking a stroll through the beautiful garden patio area in the back as well.

We had an excellent meal, service, and value at Monmouth. My sisters and I were on a girl trip and we ended the trip with this meal. Perfect.
They made our 50th Anniversary dinner very special! Delicious food, great service and my favorite big band music playing softly in the background.
Food and service were excellent! We were there on a Wednesday night and there was just one other couple there at the time. The food was very, very good. Enjoyed our waiter. Definitely not to be missed when in Natchez!
This was an excellent experience. My wife raved about the duck and I had a shrimp cocktail and great wedge salad. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
