Pictures show upscale intimate settings. Unfortunately management allows a center table of 5 to change to 7 creating a party scene disrupting all the other tables. Steaks are not choice but Walmart select beef. One server for 12 tables. Average at best

The experience was truly wonderful. The meal was quiet with softb music in the background and very intimate. The food was exquisite, and truly enjoyable. I will definitely be returning within the month.

A restaurant resting on its laurels and relying on the ambiance and atmosphere to compensate for mediocre food. We got the lamb lollipops to start and redfish and duck entrees. All of them were just okay. The lamb was probably the best but nothing special. The fish was overcooked and both entrees were served with large heapings of bland wild rice and green beans that were clearly previously frozen. The pecan pie was topped with Hershey’s chocolate ice cream syrup which seemed unnecessary.

Service was kind but also mediocre. Small details like mismatched, cheap wine glasses, no replacing cutlery between courses, and no host or hostess made the experience feel a bit ramshackle.

You’re paying for the experience of eating in an old antebellum home, not for food or service.

The ambience was wonderful and service impeccable! Started with the butternut squash soup. It was delicious! My duck was wonderful as was my husband's red fish. Fantastic Christmas Eve meal!

The food was excellently prepared. The service was attentive and friendly. The wine was reasonably priced. Overall an excellent experience.

I made reservations for my Girlfriend and I for her Birthday trip to Natchez. From the time we walked in the experience was outstanding. The service was excellent, always on time but not bothersome. The food was excellent, from the lamb lollipops, to the steak and the pork chop and the pecan pie. The atmosphere was Absolutely Impeccable. Restaurant 1818 is a very well appointed and comfortable dining experience. We couldn't have asked for a better place in Natchez to celebrate my Love's Birthday. I very highly reccomend Restaurant 1818 for a wonderful fine dining experience in Natchez.

Roasted cubed potatoes were over seasoned. Thanksgiving turkey was served in chipped pieces and not presented in beautiful slices.

My husband and I stayed at the Monmouth Inn for a couple of nights. Although we did not eat a meal we did stop in for dessert and martinis. The dining room is lovely but we chose to eat in the cozy Quitman Lounge. The bartender was very friendly and his chocolate martinis were terrific. The white chocolate bread pudding was absolutely amazing and one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Take time to look at some of the memorabilia in the lounge.

We had an outstanding experience at 1818. George, our waiter, did an amazing job. George’s knowledge of the food and the history of the place was exceptional, and he was incredibly personable throughout our meal. The location itself is beautiful, and the food was nothing short of extraordinary. We highly recommend 1818 if you enjoy fine dining in a unique, memorable setting.

Excellent spot with fantastic food. The server was quite adept despite juggling multiple tables. The restaurant is in a beautiful antebellum home which has been lovingly restored and decorated. Both of our mains were exceptional.
