Lotta history and conversation. Good drinks and relaxing atmosphere...at that particular time. Could get otherwise on the weekends. This was a one stop experience
Great haunted old building, we had a live band and friendly people both local and tourist like us
Fries were soggy and cold. Burger was fantastic. Waitress had bill wrong. After she corrected the bill she stood at the table waiting for payment without letting me to check the new amount. I felt pressured to hurry up and pay.
We stopped in Natchez while on a Viking River Cruise. We walked up the hill to see what's doin and buy some souvenirs and happen into the Under-the-Hill Saloon. We ended up sitting to this great guy named Randy. We had a great visit. Cheers Randy 🍸

Love the saloon. It's got a great atmosphere, live music every day, and a variety of patrons from locals to tourists that give it a distinctive flavor.
I don't know why it's still advertised as serving food, but they do not. There are two restaurants next next to it though, so if you're hungry food is available.

Ok so real talk the bar is a fantastic spot but the night that we were there it was shoulder to shoulder packed and there was one bar tenter. We watched 1000 dollars walk out the door while we stood in line for 15 min waiting to order.... The bar tender had an attitude but who wouldn't when you are being run ragged by yourself.

Great 'local' bar with friendly staff and patrons. We were lucky enough to catch some free live music while we were there. Lots of history in this bar.

Oldest bar on the Mississippi River. A MUST stop for a sunset beverage for sure. Great live music! Go to enjoy, this is an old school bar and still keeps tabs on paper! There are darts and foosball if you like that sort of fun. Could honestly spend hours just taking in all of the history on the walls!!
Parking: A few steps never hurt anybody

This street is the exact same and identical to the one featured in the 2018 video game Red Dead Redemption 2 location in the game called Van Horn Trading Post and this bar is in the same place as the saloon in the video game so cool!
