Cook's Bar B Que offers a half rib plate special that is great tasting, with enough ribs for two meals. The atmosphere and staff are nice, but there was an issue with the temperature and taste of the peel and eat shrimp. The BBQ special with ribs and pulled pork was good, but the potato salad had hard potatoes. Some dishes lacked a smoky barbecue flavor and seemed vinegar-based. Despite some shortcomings, the Strawberry Cheesecake and Iced Tea were cold and tasty. Pricing was decent for the portion sizes. The reviewer plans to give Cook's Bar B Que another try to reassess their experience.
