Looking for an excellent dinner in Ocean Springs? Evergreen is the place! Everything my husband and I ordered last night was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for better service and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night.

I stopped here for brunch while I was in town. Mason took care of me and he was awesome, friendly and prompt. I never needed to consider optimism because he never let my glass reach the halfway mark. I ordered the crab cakes and they were awesome. Very generous portions on top of grits that were even better than they looked. Will definitely stop in again

Our experience was just okay. The indoor seating felt cramped with the high-top tables, so we chose to sit outside. I expected the menu to be a bit more seasonal, especially for a farm-to-table restaurant, but most of the options were on the heavier side. The oysters were decent, though the accompanying crackers tasted burnt. The snapper was dry and could have benefited from a light sauce to add some moisture and flavor. For dessert, the only option was cannolis, so we decided to pass.

Our servers were great but our meal was slow getting to us. My order wasn't exactly right but it was corrected. If you order an Irish coffee it's not the traditional one I was expecting. Bailey's and coffee was disappointing. They do not have decaf which is odd for a breakfast/brunch place. The breakfast martini is awesome!!

The crab Rangoon oysters were the best version of oysters I've ever had. Complex flavors and just overall perfect. Great weekend brunch spot.

I’ve actually been meaning to leave this review for a while because this has become one of our go-to spots. We love being a part of the weekend energy, but when the crowds start picking up and things feel a little too busy, this is where we like to step away and slow things down without leaving downtown altogether.
We always sit somewhere in the bar area, either right at the bar top or in the back corner at the high-top tables. That corner has kind of become our favorite over time. It is tucked away just enough to feel cozy, but still part of the atmosphere. The vibe feels a little like a New Orleans piano bar without the live music. Just a comfortable energy that makes you want to sit and stay a while.
We have always loved that the menu changes regularly. It keeps things fresh without feeling overdone. Whether we stop in after lunch or come for dinner, the food is always good and the service is always attentive and personable.
What really stood out to us today was watching Gavin behind the bar. We weren’t even part of the conversation, but we watched him take the time to explain the process of making a Vesper martini for other guests near us. You could tell he genuinely cared about making it a great experience for them. His energy was kind, personable, and really added something special to the atmosphere. It reminded me why we keep coming back. It is not just the food or the drinks, it is how this place makes you feel when you are here.
If you are looking for somewhere with good food, a great atmosphere, and people who genuinely care about the experience they are creating, this is it. We will definitely be continuing to come back.

Interesting place. The risotto and the steak were great. The chicken was okay, unevenly cooked. The cucumber salad was good, unexpected. The crab bisque was very good! Had the crab claws and goat cheese for apps. The service was a challenge at times. I'm glad we experienced it, but we will try some other places in Ocean Springs next time.

Evergreen was a small, local gem with a charming ambiance. Creative mocktails and a menu featuring Southern classics with a twist. Our server JJ was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. I like that the menu changes. We found the dishes a touch salty, and I'm a salty gal, still delicious. Little pricey but generous portions and a special experience.

Food was extremely salty, did not enjoy it at all.
Service was not great, server was a bit awkward and super quiet. Also never refilled our drinks at all, which paired with the salty food made for a really bad time lol.
Atmosphere was decent.
But the saltiness of the food made the meal very bad for my wife and I. Every dish was extremely salty (2 entrees and 2 appetizers).
I have never had food at a restaurant be too salty for me before this.

Most of the food was very good, especially the Wagyu Beef. The service was terribly slow, but friendly. Valentine's Day pre-fixe menu was supposed to include Snickers Cannolli but instead offered Napoleon King Cake that was undercooked and just okay. First two bottles of wine ordered from menu weren't available.

We started with the raw and charbroiled oyster appetizers, and they were absolutely delicious. I had the burger, it was juicy, flavorful, and topped with that incredible bacon jam, it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a while. To top it all off, their Old Fashioned was excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and expertly crafted. Highly recommend!

Great location as well as a great atmosphere. Both time I been there It wasn't crowded as you felt like you was eating in a privacy setting. If any complaint I may have is the food is hit or miss. But it can just be my taste buds my wife enjoys her meal every time she goes here. To the point she comes here quite frequent as she comes to Biloxi for business on a monthly base.
