Looking for an excellent dinner in Ocean Springs? Evergreen is the place! Everything my husband and I ordered last night was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for better service and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night.
I stopped here for brunch while I was in town. Mason took care of me and he was awesome, friendly and prompt. I never needed to consider optimism because he never let my glass reach the halfway mark. I ordered the crab cakes and they were awesome. Very generous portions on top of grits that were even better than they looked. Will definitely stop in again
Our experience was just okay. The indoor seating felt cramped with the high-top tables, so we chose to sit outside. I expected the menu to be a bit more seasonal, especially for a farm-to-table restaurant, but most of the options were on the heavier side. The oysters were decent, though the accompanying crackers tasted burnt. The snapper was dry and could have benefited from a light sauce to add some moisture and flavor.
