The WIlbur Bar Reviews
Always a relaxing and nice time at The Wilbur Bar. Cassidy is always so friendly. Nice to chat with her each time we visit The Roost. Also love The Stary Night cocktail.
Such a great quiet and cozy place to spend time on a date. Impressive list of hand crafted cocktails really sets it apart, along with the friendly staff.
Anna and Ashley- the best mixologist ❣️

The Wilbur Bar is an eclectic and unique spot, perfect for a relaxed night out or gathering with friends. The cozy space features live music and attentive staff, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Although it no longer serves food, the bar offers a wide variety of specialty cocktails, like the Hemingway, with fun foam, glitter, and ice cubes that make each drink special. The knowledgeable bartenders go all out to present drinks nicely. Visitors often enjoy the friendly service and the laid-back vibe, especially after dinner. The bar is located off the main stretch of Ocean Springs, away from downtown, making it a peaceful place to unwind. It has a secret speakeasy room with a comfy sofa, giving it total speakeasy vibes and a private lounge feel. The cocktails are highly praised, with favorites like the smoked Old Fashioned and the espresso martini, which are described as smooth, bold, and perfection. Customers also enjoy small bites, like deviled eggs topped with a bacon jam-style crumble on a bed of creamy mousse, considered one of the best bites in a while. The atmosphere is further enriched by the beautiful hotel it is part of, and occasional live music events add to the experience. The bar often has just one bartender, which can make service slow, but the cool vibe makes it worth the wait. Future plans include adding more French-inspired small plates in 2026, promising even more reasons to visit.
