“Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!“

Mushrooms were so delicious and our steaks where some of the best if not the best on the coast! Service was great too! Highly recommend Cheryl's for Steak and Rib lovers!“

“Hops and Growlers is truly a gem. The beer is amazing, and they have 20 beers on tap. Every beer I tried was on point and superbly balanced. The only thing better than the beer are the people. Scott is the owner, brewer, and was the guy manning the taps. He and the other customers treated me like I have been frequenting the brewery for years and we were old friends. If you're anywhere close by this is a can't miss place and you should plan on spending more time there than you expect.“

“Favorite local restaurant!! The flavors, the vibe, the cocktails! Perfect balance between neighborhood charm and culinary creativity. Soft tempura shrimp, Tamari-honey glazed short rib and Korean fried chicken!!! And a crazy good bread pudding with vanilla ice cream!! Best restaurant of the area by far!!“

“The last time I visited was pre-pandemic. The food was great then & it’s still great now. The wait was just right for home cooked soul food. The music was great; I danced in my seat the whole time, lol. The portions are huge, so I was able to take home leftovers. My food was piping hot when I received it. And, the price was amazing. A bonus was Wonder Woman, the Jill of all skills.“

“I have alpha gal syndrome (AGS), which comes from a tick. I can't eat any mammal products or mammal-based products. We noticed on their online menu that this place has Vegan & Vegetarian options. We called and talked to the day manager. She was so helpful. We went tonight. They were SO accommodating and helpful. They made sure everything I had was safe to eat. Bonus, it was GREAT!! I am so happy to finally have a safe place to dine. THANK YOU!!!“

1. No ‘main’ entrance- just mosey around til you find the menus and ordering counter
2. No real dining room -pick pick out a table somewhere
3. Eclectic decor- odd, funny, weird.
4. Girl walks out with the food order loudly calling your name.
5. Very friendly and welcoming.
6. We shared a jumbo plate and that’s all we needed“

“VK Noodle House has the best & most flavorful FRESH Vietnamese Pho, Porridge, & Asian Meal Selections in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Their Crispy Salt & Pepper Prawns, Tempura, Spring Rolls, & all of their drinks are so... good! I love the fresh Avocado, Coconut, & Strawberry Shakes. They are very refreshing. The Broken Rice Plate Selections are also very delectable like #72 Rice with Korean BBQ Rib, & #73 Rice with Pork Chop, & to think, I'm not a fan of Pork Chop, but I love their Pork Chops. The best thing about VK Noodle House is that they are willing to accommodate cooking any of their menu offerings WITHOUT CHILLI, which is awesome for those with CAPSAICIN Allergy. Going through each & every dish on their menu was such a gastronomic adventure. I'd highly recommend doing that until you have a list of your favorite selections.“

Only issue is the fact they will not bring you a take-out box to table, keeping in mind no "All you can eat" items were ordered...they took our plates back to kitchen to box and left at front counter? Trivial maybe, aggravating yes! Makes no sense and please no COVID lessen needed here, I get it but I didn't observe any other protocol being followed.“
