Food and service were good as well as the views while dining. Only issue is the fact they will not bring you a take-out box to table, keeping in mind no "All you can eat" items were ordered...they took our plates back to kitchen to box and left at front counter? Trivial maybe, aggravating yes! Makes no sense and please no COVID lessen needed here, I get it but I didn't observe any other protocol being followed.
Spouse and I stopped by before heading back to New Orleans from our trip in Ocean Springs for memorial weekend. The food was excellent and true southern coastal style. The atmosphere was homey and historic. The grounds and views of the bayou/live oaks were gorgeous. And the service was very charming. Especially our server Beah, not sure of spelling, was exceptionally warm and welcoming!
I have been wanting to try Aunt Jenny's for a while and my family took me last night for my birthday. They did not disappoint! They seated us in a dining room with a gorgeous view over the water where we could also enjoy the sunset. The menu wasn't packed with too much to choose from and I like that.
