We stopped in on way home from airport and we were expecting just normal. The food here is amazing. Everything is seasoned perfectly. The chips and cheesedip was our favorite. We loved it so much, we have already been back again, and we live in Tupelo.

I have been going to this establishment and ordering take-out for many years and the food has always been really good. However, last night was horrible. I ordered take-out and was so disappointed. The chimachanga with fajita chicken was absolutely tasteless; there was no grilled taste on the chicken at all. They left out the onions and peppers and the queso on top. The small queso I ordered literally had no taste either. I don’t mind paying higher prices, but the quality needs to be maintained at all costs. As a long time customer, this will be my last visit for a very long time. :-(

The food preparation at Casa Mexicana is actually very good — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, the portions are incredibly small. Every dish we ordered looked more like a kids’ meal than a full-sized entrée, yet we were paying full adult prices. It’s disappointing to leave a restaurant still hungry, especially when the taste is on point. If they improved portion sizes to match the pricing, I’d definitely reconsider going back.

Enchiladas are pretty much a staple item at most Mexican restaurants. It's a great starting point to see how well a restaurant does. The salsa was mostly crunchy tomatoes with a few onions. I saw no sign of anything else in it. The waiter brought out my entree and said "hot plate". When I went to adjust the askew plate, it was room temperature. The food was hot, at least for a few minutes. The enchilada sauce was weak, watery, and overall mearly "ok". That's the best thing I can say.

First time coming to this place. is was walking distance from my hotel I ordered a Torta that’s new to there menu from what it said. Well that is not a torta is a skinny sub that was hard as rocks burnt meat was not cut. The meat was dry and hard to chew. The waiter was very nice and understanding. The Torta comes with potato chips like sub way!! Just terrible experience. I did talk to the manager and she refunded the meal that almost broke my teeth. Please take this out your menu you’re cook obviously don’t know how to prepare and serve a torta!
