The food at Guthrie’s Olive Branch (8277 McGregor Crossing) is always clean and tastes great, which is why I’ve been a frequent customer. However, the customer service needs serious improvement.
Recently, I went through the drive-thru and got home to find no ketchup or utensils in my bag. When I called to speak with the manager, I explained that this was the second time I’ve had issues. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager was combative, told me the GM instructed them not to give ketchup unless asked, and then hung up on me when I asked for their name.
Good food doesn’t make up for poor service. Hanging up on a customer and dismissing feedback is unacceptable & reflects badly on the restaurant. Guthrie’s needs to train staff better because this experience makes me think twice about returning. I don't need to pay for an incomplete service and be disrespected.
