MAMA ROSA MEXICAN FOOD

Elizabeth our server was excellent. She gave great recommendations, prompt service and never had to initiate an ask for a refill of a drink or clearing of empty plates. Food was very delicious. We drove here while staying at Guest House in Graceland. A friend gave us a recommendation to come here. My family was happy we made this choice.

Everything was amazing 10/10. I would highly recommend this place anybody that hasn't tried it !

We arrived a full half hour before our reservation time, and were immediately felt welcomed and cared for! Food was incredible, as usual

Great service . Clean place . Clean restrooms. Seated respectfully . Ambiance and aura was so chic and nice made me feel like I was in a Dallas brunch spot . Food was a 4 and that's only because the chips tasted a little stale and hard but everything else was good.

The service was phenomenal along with the atmosphere. The drinks were delicious and the food was also very good. Check out the patio for outdoor seating on warm days as its adorable

Had a reservation and it still took ~25 minutes to be seated. Service was slow and our server although decent has a lot to learn about how to attend to a customer. Their Salsa and chips are lacking, we've had better at a dozen different Mexican Restaurants, same with the cheese dip, no chilies, just OK. Mixed drinks are overpriced, beer, $4.50 for a Fat Tire, too much. The entrees were good, sizable and enjoyable but $30 for ribeye fajitas is still $8.00 or more too high. Ambiance ... poor. too bright, too loud, just not fitting a $100+ meal for 2. We wanted something special and it fell well short.

The food and atmosphere were exceptional. I can’t decide which was best. The food presentation and taste were amazing. Our server was phenomenal. I will definitely go back. Oh, and the drinks are on point too.

Was looking for a good Mexican spot while visiting Olive Branch. After seeing the reviews, thought we'd give Mama Rosa a try. Doesn't look like a Mexican spot from the outside. It's in a small shopping center and very bright on the inside. Upon entering, very modern and cute decor. The hostess was super sweet and immediately got us sat. Somehow we didn't get any silverware (just menus) but we were able to ask for it later. Our server was Kira. Friendly, gave wonderful recommendations and constantly checked on us throughout the evening. We decided on two of her food recommendations and then Rosita for cocktails. We also did queso. Our queso actually came out a bit cold and wasn't completely melted but she immediately took it back and it came out hot the next time. Our dishes were amazing! The shrimp were big, fresh and the cheese they use is different than other restaurants. The only thing I'd change is charging guests for chips and salsa and then for queso. We ordered chips and queso (no salsa) so it should have only been one charge. Granted it's only an additional 2 dollars so we didn't mention but was just weird to have two separate charges for that. We would definitely come back as the food was amazing, service was good and the staff was super welcoming!

New place, enjoyable and great server and staff. I will be back again. I'm thinking for my anniversary.

Had dinner here with my son and daughter, and it was such a vibe! He got the Quesa-Birria and said it was next-level. The meat was super tender and crazy flavorful—had to be good because when I looked back, his plate was spotless. I went with the carnitas tacos and rice, and let me tell you, that special sauce on the tacos? Absolute fire. It took the whole dish to another level. The real star of the night, though, was the Reposado Tequila Espresso Martini. It didn't have that overpowering espresso flavor some martinis do—just smooth, balanced, and so good. I'm already planning to bring my mom back next week. This spot is officially on my list!

The cocktails are overpriced. I was charged 12 for a lemon drop with no liquor and extra 8 for the Tito's. I was charged 20 for a lemon drop. There was hair on the tortilla chip, the manager was too busy to come by the table and discuss. A manager never came to the table.

Great good and environment. Not crazy about the drink prices. I paid 21.00 for a drink full of ice in a small glass, and I didn't feel anything. Great taste, though.

Moma Rosa was a great experience. This was my husband and I 1st night at this restaurant. We did have to wait for about couple of minutes to be seated because there was a family of 2 waiting before us. We were a little hesitant to eat here because there was a family of two waiting before us and we were made aware by them that they were not greeted yet and when we looked around, there were a lot of staff available. We were happy to finally be greeted by a nice man who was our server. I cannot recall his name but he was so pleasant and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We started off with the wholly guacamole, which was good, it was served with skins which was a different spin. I believe if the skins were hot and had a little salt added, it would be great! For the entree we got the Luis Lamb Chops and Barría tacos. Both entrees were very delicious. The entrees were plated very beautifully. Although the lamb were small, they were grilled to perfection. And the tacos filled my husband right up with the flavor being in every bite. We finished dinner off with a recommendation from our awesome server which was the churro bites which you have to try because they were so yummy and the ice cream was so smooth and flavorful, did not taste store bought like certain restaurants.
