They could use more seating but they just don't have room to expand, otherwise they would lose parking spaces. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast

We are from out of town and just ate here. Just walked in to the front door and sat ourselves. We got lucky and there was a table for 4. I could see this place getting busy. The food was good and the service was great. Come here if u looking for some local restaurant with a small town feel. Thank u for making us feel welcome.

This is one of the best hidden gems that I've been to in a long time.. the food was amazing, hands down. If you ever in Oliver Branch stop by
THE NEIGHBORHOOD GRILL for some of the best home-cooked meals around.
They close at 2:00 p.m. open @ 6:00 a.m. Very friendly staff. Without the long wait, I got today's menu.. and was able to enjoy my meal all under thirty minutes. A very relaxing & laid-back environment .. 5 stars all the way.. I will be returning soon...

I eat there quite often. I always get the biscuits and gravy with a slice of country ham. Love it. All the waiters are very down home friendly. And the coffee is the best.

I didn’t like this food experience. This was my first…and last…time eating here. It was recommended by several people via social media. I ordered breakfast:

bacon - seemingly not hot and fresh (or at least it didn’t appear nor taste hot nor fresh) and it didn’t have the tasty bacon taste that I ordinarily prefer.

I also had ordered 2 extra orders of bacon and, for whatever reason, that bacon was included atop of the pancakes (along with the packets of butter and syrup…which I thought was unsanitary and I didn’t like that either).

grits - seemingly not hot and fresh and not as creamy as I usually like grits to be.

toast - missing from my order 😕.

potatoes - seemingly not hot and fresh and not seasoned at all…just way too bland to me.

oatmeal - the accompanied brown sugar helped it out a lot.

pancakes - seemingly not as hot and fresh as I ordinarily prefer, but they tasted “okay”.

unsweetened tea/lemonade - not as tasty as I usually prefer it to be.

This is a local breakfast & lunch only place. The menu prices are decent.I did find the food to be bland. The biscuits were fluffy and the pancake was very good. The grits were hard and gritty. We shared a Hungry Man breakfast plate and it was plenty for both of us! Probably won't go back but it's worth a try if you want homemade food.

This place is a local gem. Family owned and run. The food is homemade and their presentation was great. But... The don't seem to use enough seasoning. Plus... We went for breakfast at 10:30 but they had already transitioned to lunch. Their open-faced roast beef was really good as well as their fries. My daughter in law had the catfish which was her first time and she said she would definitely get it again. Everything would have been super delicious by adding more seasoning. Thank you for you friendly hospitality!! 🥰❤️

When I ate at this gem of a restaurant that is family-owned and operated. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided quick service, even during busy times like transitioning to their lunch menu. The building was clean and well-maintained.

One unique aspect of this restaurant is that they make certain dishes on specific days, adding variety to their menu.

What I appreciated most about this restaurant was the family-friendly atmosphere. It was clear that they prioritize creating a welcoming environment for guests of all ages.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal served with a side of warm hospitality.

Cramped space for the volume of business, but worth a waiting list. More than friendly staff, the kind of combination some restaurant owners dream of having.
