We tried to eat at Red Fish in Olive Branch last night and had a terrible experience.
We arrived at 8:05 to sit at the bar for one drink and order a meal to go. The restaurant was completely empty except for two couples at the bar. There were 4 or 5 employees at the hostess booth sitting down and a bartender at the bar.
We sit down at the bar with no acknowledgment for about 5-7min. No biggie! My wife finally asks for a drink menu. The bartender ignored her. She asks again. He continues to ignore her as he converses with another couple at the bar. She asks a third time. He looks at his watch with an attitude, grabs a drink menu and literally tosses it on the counter in front of her and goes back to the other couple. He said absolutely nothing to us. At this point I was ready to go.
My wife then says, âExcuse me, what time do you close? He said 30 min and immediately turned his back to her. Google and their door said they close at 9. Ok cool Iâm ready to go.
We get up and head to the door and I decide to ask for a manager. One of the employees points to the bartender. Go figure. So I walk up to him and say, it was not great customer service to not only ignore us but to act as if we were bothering you just by being here. This man literally threw his hands up and YELLED at me and said âYOU JUST GOT HERE!lâ
I just said it wasnât even the wait time thatâs the problem even thought the restaurant is empty, itâs the attitude. This man threw his hands up and shook his head like âI donât know what to tell you babyâ and said welllllllâŠâŠđđđ and Iâm laughing now about it because Iâm just outdone. I simply said itâs advice and as a manager behaving the way you areâŠ. You should definitely take it.
We went down to MAMA ROSA and had a great experience! The bartender and hostess were very polite and the food was really goodđ

Food is very good, owner is super nice, and i love the fish tanks. It can be a little loud sometimes and the music in the bathroom is so loud it hurts your ears but i have no other complaints.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! I had the Salmon, fried rice, and veggies. Also tempura cheesecake đ

Please do not waste your time coming here and if you order take out check your bag before you leave . I used to enjoy coming here a couple years ago but now food is not the same.I place a pick up order Food is mediocre rice is very bland no taste and they gave me the wrong sushi order. They half made the sushi did not put any of the ingredients or parts of the sushi that was supposed to be included no spicy mayo, cream cheese and more just overall was put together all wrong and thrown together. I was really upset considering the fact it was a long drive and spent almost $20.00 on rice and some sushi which definitely was not worth it and was very disappointed. Last couple times Iâve been here food is bland and customer service could use some work. Every time I come in the employees are always playing.

Oh God. I met some friends here on a Monday evening. Surprised to see the whole restaurant jam packed. I never would have thought that on a Monday it would be like this. First time visiting as I live in another state. Anyway, my friends arrived before me and had already ordered by the time I got there. I get there and the server sees me but ignores me for about 10 mins when I call her over as sheâs speaking to the table right next to us. I was about to tell her Iâm really thirsty can I at least
get some water. I tell her Iâm ready to order too since she wants to take forever. My food comes out 20-30 mins later after we had to ask her about it after waiting patiently for that long. Didnât even get to eat w my friends. The server was absolutely so awful. She did nothing to ensure that I could at least eat w my friends or offer me water. I used to serve. Always made sure everyone got their food on time even if they joined in later. Not a big deal. Servers know how to get things done if they cared or wanted. The food isnât even good lol. Majority of the sushi has crawfish in it and I donât eat that. They barely had any good options. All of the options were the same lol. I will not be returning whatsoever. Good riddance.

I was craving sushi and ordered three Tempura Shrimp rolls online. This was my first visit to this restaurant. Picked up my order and started to eat a slice and found a hair in the first roll. Took the box back in to notify them of the issue and they did NOT apologize or anything for the experience. The guy at the front showed it to another guy and he ushered him to take it to the back. A girl took the box and showed it to the guy prepping the sushi. Who knows what they did with it. There were two other rolls. First and last experience.
