My gosh, this food is the best I have ever tasted from any southern soul restaurant. 1st taste took me back to my grandma's cooking. It brought back old memories. Let's start with the okra. I thought only my grandma did it that way. No one does it that way no where. So delicious!!! Pinto beans are so scrumptious.... My fish was seasoned as it supposed to be. Perfect! Thank you for bringing back memories and delivering perfect food... I thought it was over for soul cooking, no no no. It's still here thanks to you. Delicious!!! 5stars, no a million stars. Lol

So I ordered uber eats. The only thing that was good was the 1 fried fish fillet and my lemonade…… the cornbread dry, the cabbage looked hideous, the Mac and cheese had some random not so melted cheese thrown on it the blackened fish fillet taste like the bottom of a pan. And the cobbler didn’t even tase editable

They are just not good to me! I ordered yesterday the 2 wing & 2 leg special. Their macaroni and cheese is NOT GOOD they desperately need a new recipe for that. The noodles are extremely overcooked and the cheese sauce is too liquid! This IS NOT soul food. I really wish they would have left southern hands right there.

I saw the restaurant on TikTok and decided to check it out today! Small and clean dining area. Friendly clerk taking orders. The highlight was the freshly prepared meal! Blackened catfish, chicken wings, yams , and turnip greens, corn muffins! Super Delicious 🤤no complaints!!!

Im reluctant to share this best kept secret but seeing that I put my fork down and started using my hands, I have to tell somebody. It was literally finger lickin good! I haven't tasted a meal so good that wasn't at someone's personal kitchen or at a good gathering (the one with the designated cook everyone likes). Atmosphere was beautiful and staff took pride in their work. The place was packed twice over and everyone was handled with care. Hands down one of the top spots for southern eating in Memphis.

I learned about this place through TikTok and I immediately went the next day(which is today). The customer service was a 10/10! I ordered fried catfish, yams, and extra turnip greens! Everything was good and I loveeee the greens. It’s definitely worth the 45 minute drive for me and I will be back every chance I get especially for the greens!!

Truck driver in town for a delivery, got this delivered to my truck and I was not disappointed. 10/10 for me blackened filet, Mac and cheese, turnips and some peach cobbler. All were delicious, nothing old or over cooked. Definitely recommend.
