I am updating my review based on the prompt and courteous response from management. They really know how to treat customers!! Love that!! This place has great food and drinks (full bar) and the most amazing brisket around. Get it any way your palate prefers, lean, fatty, or mixed. Everything my husband and I have ever tried has been super delicious. It is one of our favorite go-to places for date nights. We will be back, again and again. ?

Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourself. What happened to y’all. Wings so dry I may have cracked a tooth. I can’t even finish them

Friends recommended this place. It was very clean and quaint. The brisket was the best I’ve ever had and the waffle cornbread is to die for. Price wise it borders on pricey and the service was just a tad bit off ( needed refills) but would definitely eat there again.

What a disaster. Imagine hearing about how good the brisket is because they specialize in brisket. Get there and they are out of brisket early in the day. That‘a poor management. I had to settle for some pink chicken. Disappointed to say the least!

Probably the worst food I've ordered in Memphis and nearby areas. Passed this place a few times and said "oh this place looks fancy, I've got to try this". Dismayingly I placed a pickup order. The Brisket or so called Brisket nachos tasted like blue corn nachos with cheap can chili with 4-5 oinky Brisket fat in it. Absolutely horrible and certainly not worth more than $5!!! The brussel sprouts were wayyyy too tart and bitter with no taste. The chicken salad sandwich was tasteless. Kroger has better chicken salad than this.Summary....I could have picked up grocery store items that taste better than this. Obviously the cooks are culinary drop outs or online culinary failure. I'm in awe that this place has any good reviews and the bad reviews I certainly understand. Definitely my worst dining experience in the area.FYI...the mini container of supposed Brisket (aka chili with fat parts) I came separate of the nachos but I did not get a photo of it

In town for work and made a return visit to this location (first trip was in spring 2021). Overall the food was good and the service from our waitress, Lillian, was great. I ordered the brisket mixed with both fatty and lean bits but it seemed mainly lean and dry. Still had good flavor though and will certainly return when in town.

The service was excellent! LaDonna was very friendly and professional! I ordered the 3 meats meal which included brisket , burnt ends & smoked sausage. My sides were macaroni and cheese, brussel spouts & waffle cornbread. I also had bread pudding with French vanilla ice cream. I will most definitely go back!

Vegetarian options: They had a variety of vegetables.

Kid-friendliness: There where several families present with their children. They have a great kids menu.

Parking: Plenty of parking spaces as well as handicap parking.

The kitchen has black mold in the walls seeping out onto the floor and the cooking equipment. (Yes I’ve seen pictures from their own employees) Which they only clean when the health department comes by for an inspection once or twice a year. They never clean their bathrooms but maybe once a month, still have the same dirt clumps on the floor from a month ago. They just recently hired a new bartender that ignores his customers to chat with his friends the whole time. He had six out of seven customers at his bar with empty glasses who didn’t get service for 30 full minutes because Hunter was too busy talking to his one friend (the only person at the bar with a full glass). The managers don’t even care when a paying customer has an issue with their service or the cleanliness of their restaurant. If you say anything is below standard, they just kick you out for (and I quote) “overstepping” instead of addressing the concern in a professional manner or offering to fix the problem. The only good hard workers that make your experience decent are Tom, Brandon, Mallorie, and Jason. Everyone else isn’t even worth a visit. Patrice and Renee (the new managers) and Hunter (the new bartender) are the worst things to happen to this restaurant since they opened! Don’t even know how they got jobs here with their terrible attitudes. They’re lazy, overly self righteous, and rude to repeat customers. Obviously never heard of customer loyalty before. Since they’ve been hired every single regular customer they’ve had has boycotted this place! And you should too! They’ve also reduced the quality of food here drastically in the past couple months. Even their lean brisket is greasy and absolutely disgusting. (None of their regulars even bother to order their food since they changed their recipes) It went from tasting like heaven a few months ago to making most of their customers have food poisoning. So please beware of their food! It is not edible anymore. Either overcooked or undercooked. Never hitting the mark. More plates get sent back than get eaten now.Not only are the managers (Patrice and Renee) unprofessional, but if you’re hearing-impaired and ask them to repeat themselves because you didn’t hear it the first time, they get an attitude with you.Unless you’re buying local draft beers from the only four decent employees here I mentioned above, don’t waste your money or your time. You will regret it. I know my family and I definitely did!TLDR: terrible food, slow and unprofessional service, and dirty beyond belief.

Had the brisket sandwich with the brussel sprout side and both were excellent. Well paired sandwich with great flavor.

Wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very delightful. I enjoyed their beer selection while the bar tender was able to make a non-alcoholic cocktail for my wife. The waiter was especially helpful and very well mannered. We’ll definitely be back again.

The place is beautiful, staff very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. However sadly the food is no good. Presentation is great, looks like your in for a treat! Best just look....Brisket was tough, I mean no amount of fork pressure was breaking up this meat. I used a knife and found bland Brisket. The potatoes were dry , just disappointing.

Love the atmosphere and decor. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend the Shrimp and Grits or the Burnt End and Waffles.

Wolf River Brisket Co. is the ONLY restaurant I have ever been to that has actually had good brisket. Everywhere else the brisket is dry and as hard as boot leather, but not here! The brisket they serve here is tender, juicy, and absolutely full of flavor. 11/10 would recommend.

The water tasted like chemicals or detergent, but the smoked salmon, garlic green beans and mashed potatoes were great.!

I had the brisket, turnip greens and mashed potatoes with cornbread the only thing on my plate that was to my satisfaction was the brisket and corn bread the mashed potatoes was to thick the greens was terrible. My wife had the half smoked chicken it had all the seasoning in the world on the skin but the chicken itself was bland the Mac& cheese was the worst she'd ever had. My 1year old had shredded chicken it was cold I got the brisket nacho they were good but not enough meat 5 big chunks to be exact but the broccoli was unusual but good.I spent all that money and only liked 3 things!!! I probably wouldn't go back because of the first disappointment when I go to a restaurant I have a certain amount of expectations 1 of the main things I go for is good food and they didn't fullfil that. I went because it had good ratings, I didn't see that in the food maybe the mixed drinks but that was all!
