Food was pretty good, even though we only got appetizers. Well, we only got appetizers because the service was probably the worst I’ve experienced in Oxford. We booked a bay, just for an hour. The server (unsure of his name, he didn’t introduce himself but he was wearing a powder blue Ole Miss hat) informed us we would be charged if we were in the restaurant for longer than an hour. This wasn’t stated on the website when we made a reservation. We knew we could only use the bay for an hour but we weren’t aware that we would be charged if it took longer than an hour for us to order, receive our food, eat, and cash out. We were okay with this, but the server continually walked away while we attempted to order. He dropped off our drinks and immediately left, and did the same with appetizers. Google reviews and other people have told me how great Back Nine was, and I was extremely disappointed by the lack of service and lack of hospitality. Unfortunately, me and my family will 100% never return to such an unprofessional and rude establishment such as Back Nine.

Food was unexpectedly amazing. Was told an hour and a half wait, got seated after 45 minutes. Quick service considering it was Doubt Decker Weekend. Drinks were amazing and felt professionally made.

This place was nothing short of excellent. First off the atmosphere is amazing and whoever is in control of the music, Absolutley immaculate music taste. For my appetizer I got the cheese curds and they were practically gone within seconds. I did leave a couple for this fly that kept flying around the table he seemed a lil hungry. I got Coke Zero for my drink and it was so crispy and refreshing and the cup it came in had a lil hole in the side for my thumb and it was so comfortable. For my main I got a burger with fries and oh my good god the burger had me feeling some typa way. The meat was so juicy and tender and the bun was glistening 😩 The fries were so crispy and salted to perfection. This place is a 10/10 I would reccomend it to everyone. The waiter we had was also a chad shout out him.

Firstly, my chicken sandwich was so burnt it wasn't edible. Then to make matter worse there was a swarm of flies all over the restaurant landing in our food, even though we were inside. It was so gross.

Made reservations for our son’s 21st birthday. His friends all had a blast playing all the different games. None of the kids had been before. They are planing to make it a regular hang out. I apologize I do not remember the names of everyone serving us. It was quite the joint effort though. Everyone was helpful and willing to make our experience a good one. The food was so much better than the average pub food. We look forward to coming in everytime we visit Oxford. Again, thank you to everyone! We live in a small Florida beach town…we could really use a place like this ?

Back Nine has great food and an awesome atmosphere. Simulators are a great time with multiple sports options. Looking forward to stopping by again when I come in town this fall to catch a football game.
Head Chef Christopher Madkins is a romance scammer. I was scammed out of $600. I ordered food from them. It was burnt and horrible, and I was very disappointed seeing as me and the Head chef were in a relationship.
He will try to reel you in to buy him some weed.

He had me thinking we were in love got me pregnant, and convinced me we were going to move into a place together claimed he couldn’t do it all on his own and he needed me to help with half I sent him $600. He put his hands on me and he told the police that he would send my money back and he has still not sent me my money back and he still isn’t communicating like an adult about this baby that he planned with me
He knew I was desperate to find a place for my kids to finally call home and it’s really sad that he scammed me out of that money as well as knocked me up
He also made up that this couple that comes to the restaurant frequently was the one who scammed him out of the money for a house that they owned
He was broke and needed weed to smoke and I bought it for him. I did a lot for him in the short time I’ve known him and all he did was get me pregnant, stole my money and went ghost.

His baby mother let me know He wasn’t a good person after all of this happened and she let me know I should run far away. Maybe if she would’ve told me this before I was scammed and knocked up I could have made a better decision, but I was completely blindsided and lied to by Christopher.
He promised my money back and still has yet to do that. He blocked me and went ghost.
