This place is like having breakfast at your grandmothers house. Coffee is strong and black and you won't find any frozen biscuits here. These biscuits are like a pillow . Brown on the outside and oh so fluffy on the inside.The country fried steak and homemade gravy was a great choice. The Beacon is the best. The price is reasonable, the food is good, and the staff are the best. Judy is the best waitress you can ask for. I’m a lifetime customer.

I came in town to spend the New Year with my Mom and step-dad. We decided to get some breakfast out. They told me about the Beacon and how long it had been there. It is a quaint little place. I felt like I was stepping back in time. It had that old home town feeling. The breakfast was fresh and hot and very tasty. You need to go check it out if you haven't tried it yet. You won't be disappointed.
