LOVE this place! I was visiting from out of town & needed to find a place to accommodate my dietary needs. THIS place exceeded my expectations! I’ve been looking for a GF blueberry scone & not only did they have one..it was outstanding! The smoothies are amazing as well! I went back 3xs on my visit! Don’t hesitate to try!

We love the Byrd House. We are in their cafe several times a week picking up "grab and go" or the fresh juices. Also love the healthy salads. Our boss loves the Breakfast sandwich with egg on an English muffin. We started giving Byrd House gift cards out to our tenants that live near the Square so they will have healthy food options!

So I rarely post as I am in the hospitality industry and recognize the difficulties. However the owners should know the good and the bad. I ordered egg sandwich, cappuccino, amdricano and avocado toast. Total with tip was $50. Just be transparent and charge me the $50 on the front side. Don’t shake me into giving 20% for counter service in advance of having received and food. Food came out pretty quickly but was pretty disappointing in portion and taste. I am not a big eater but portions were tiny and taste was meh at best. Under seasoned and dry for sandwich also came with a few spinach leave and half a cherry tomato undressed. Not sure if that was supposed to be a salad. The avicado toast was a half size piece of toast with some uninspired smeared avocado. Asked for hot sauce and the gave me a plastic container of which I’m not sure the purpose of… I only wanted a few drops Why not just have bottles out in the counter. Always Seems like a waste to me. Went back to ask for coffees. Counter person was short and rude in her response (Even though I’ve already tipped her 20 percent on the front side). By the time the coffee came out we had finished tiny breakfast. We asked for some cream and they don’t have any except alt creamers like oat. I suppose they are fine for some but it always separates from the coffee and just doesn’t taste great to me. I suppose this is their way of being dairy free although most menu items come with an egg🤷🏻. Again coffee was mid at best.

My 10 year old granddaughter said it was the best acai bowl she has ever had!

Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere. My granddaughter liked looking at the birdhouses through the windows.

This was the perfect place for breakfast while we were in town. We walked from our hotel on a beautiful morning. I had to try their cashew milk in my coffee. It was thick and delicious, and now I wish there was one closer to my home. The smoothie bowl was beautiful and full of flavor. I loved it, and it was very filling. Their breakfast sandwich has turkey bacon jam and raw cheese. The perfect pairing with the egg. And so special for someone who doesn't eat pork to get to enjoy a good bacon jam. It captured all the flavors and so surprisingly with turkey. They have really crafted top quality menu items. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and took our coffees on the walk back. We'll definitely visit again when in Oxford.

I would love a good cafe in Oxford with healthy, filling vegan options at affordable prices. This is not that cafe. The menu is extremely weak and overpriced. There is nothing to fill up a hungry vegan man, even with $25 to burn. Sure, you could buy a PB&J for >$10 and a smoothie for about $10 more, but you'll leave hungry and broke. And this place closes so early, it just won't fit into my life anymore. Go to Tropical Smoothie instead.

Friendly staff and the Acain Bowl was yummy. My only negative is they didn't have oat milk as an alternative.
