Hard to give a 5star rating at a fast food drive-thru!!! Hence the 4star!.Food is usually just fine, nicely cooked and hot.I have noticed they seem to be short staffed often over the last year ++. I asked the sweet lady working hard to get orders out and correctly, if I could help by calling her regional office. She seemed reluctant, as she continued to work getting our order out..I assured her I could tell she was doing her best as fast as she could and to not let anyone complaining about it get her down.Vegetarian options: Broccoli and side salad are usually good options for me. I like to add butter to my Broccoli. I like their broccoli. I'm not one that likes it half cooked. If I want it crunchy, I'll buy a veggie tray with dip..I've always liked the batter dipped fish with lots of malt vinegar. Vinegar is excellent for the digestive system so this is a go to meal or a delicious salad speciality at other local restaurants with vinaigrette dressings.Parking: Plenty of parking at all times.Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendly, and plenty of tables in the dining room area.Wheelchair accessibility: Accommodations for wheelchairs.

Lately the price of Captain Ds has increased dramatically but the sizes have decreased! I love captain ds it's like a family thing for us, but I purchased a 2pc dinner no drink and the add on shrimp sample and my order was $18, that's extremely higher and the amount of food was less, it was literally a pinch of shrimp, about 3/4 broccoli and the fish is slimmer/smaller. Also I asked if they did coupons bc I no longer see them in the mail they said no, I dnt think I'll be eating there as frequently as before bc of the prices and food scaling down.

Ordered blackened catfish in drive through. Waited forever and they gave me Cajun catfish which is fried. Went inside to get it fixed and had to pay for another dinner to get blackened fish. The managers boss had an attitude and needless to say I will not be back!

Look for the specials. They are money savers. Can't beat the fish. I hate "fishy" tasting fish. Captain D's fish is crispy on the outside and tender inside. Love it.

We got there at 9pm and had to use the drive-thru. They answered all our questions and put new fish in the fryer for us. Fish and hushpuppies were good, the baked potatoes weren't cooked well.
