City Grocery was super accommodating with reservation adjustments on one of Oxford's busiest weekends of the year! The service was great and the food was wonderful!
City Grocery will always be our go to when we are looking for a great lunch place in Oxford. The food is always consistently delicious and the staff is amazing. I love to be on the Square but out of the fray, especially on a busy Saturday.

UPDATE: Was contacted quickly by City Grocery's GM with a heartfelt apology. Will give them another try when we have a chance and update my review. Asked for different bread for sandwich, which they couldn't accommodate because they were busy. Okay, understandable, but also requested dressing on side but sandwich arrived with dressing on it. Also mixed up fries and chips; got fries on sandwich that was supposed to get chips and vice versa. 1 of the 4 orders didn't arrive and had to ask for it; came about 10 minutes after the rest of food arrived. No apologies for any of the mixups. Food was good but maybe should write orders down if they're going to get messed up and an apology goes a long way.

Great restaurant for fine dining. Everything is consistently done to the highest standards…….the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I think much of the credit goes to Georgia Hogue, the manager. She keeps an eagle eye on everything. I think running a very busy, high end restaurant is very challenging. This is one of our favorite restaurants……..and it’s because it’s reliably great. Thank you to the kitchen staff, the service staff……and Georgia.
