This is a loud, generally very crowded environment. I've had hit or miss service. Food has always been good! Parking is a struggle at dinner time on the weekends. Enchiladas are great! My son loves the burritos. Strawberry/mango margarita is so good!

Poblano Mole was the worst entree ever set in front of me. $14 bucks for a slab of damp chicken beside a small scoop of rice set in some sauce that substituted for Mole and poblano. No pepper in sight. Like a bad joke. Will never go back

The restaurant is family friendly; however, I order from the drive through window. The food always comes out hot and delicious.
I expected El Charro to be a lot better based off the reviews and pictures. Our server was good for how crowded the restaurant was and he was fast. Their sweet tea and chips and salsa we really got but the others not so much: queso with meat, burritos, enchiladas, cilantro rice, refried beans, and quesadillas. My whole family was disappointed with the three entrees meals due to the lack of quality and flavor. The queso was watered down and the meat inside was bland. My burrito has just ground beef and tasted like something from a school cafeteria, the enchiladas were okay, but that was because of the cheese. The quesadillas we were just as good as something i could get at home. Lastly, the cilantro rice was not good and the refried beans felt like they were growing in my mouth. Overall, I recommend a restaurant in the square.
