Guthrie's Chicken Oxford Ms.

This may be my 3rd time in a row of coming here and being forced to pay for an extra sauce because the worker refuses to fill up the entire cup of sauce. Either hire workers that can fill up a damn sauce cup or give out free sauces because the food is inedible without the sauce.

I have eaten at two different Guthrie's, one in Auburn a few years ago and this one on Oxford today. The quality of the food was identical. The chicken is of good quality but is so stupefyingly salty as to be virtually inedible. I ate one and a half strips and gave up.
Guthrie's advertises that they serve "extra long crinkle-cut fries, the best fries in the world". I beg to differ. The absolute best any crinkle cut fry can be is average. Guthrie's are floppy and undercooked.
The slaw and toast were ok.
I waited four years to try them a second time. That will be my last.

It was 6:15 we ordered a 5 piece meal i think it was left over from lunch! This is what we got

The fries could have been cooked a little longer, maybe a minute or just less. They weren't cooked all the way and were not crunchy as they should have been.

The food was good. It was averagely good, I'd say. The only complaint that I have is that the chicken tenders were a bit too small for the price of the box. Taste-wise, it reminds me of a mixture of Canes and Zaxbys.

We went through the drive thru right at noon on Saturday. There was one car at the window waiting for food. It was not busy. As we were ordering, the woman cut us off and told us the price before we could finish our order in which we were going to ask for extra toast and no slaw. When we got to the window, we asked to make the adjustment to the order and woman quickly cut us off again and said “they are already made” with a tone of attitude. The slaw was in a container. She could have easily taken it out and added a toast. She was highly unprofessional and unpleasant. We will not be visiting this location again.

Wanted to grab dinner late one night it’s about 9 o’clock and we got there and was told their lobby wasn’t open there was nothing saying that it was open or not so we had to order through drive-through and we got basically old food I had to come home and reheat the chicken if it’s edible and then I’m making my own fries for the families which I was trying to avoid
An amazing restaurant hasn’t even been here two years and it’s already gone gone downhill

I ordered the box for $10. It includes strips, fries, toast, and slaw. The strips were good. The crinkle cut fries were not good. The slaw was not that great. The toast was good but cold. They had an order 38 plates ahead of me, so I’m guessing I got part of the tons of fries that were cooked for that order. The guy working in the drive thru and the guy fixing the food were constantly arguing. Not sure I’ll return here. Oh, and the sauce was good.
