I don't know what has happened to Handy Andy but the quality of their burgers has gone down drastically. The meat had no flavor and was overcooked. Such a disappointment-they had an excellent burger 4 to 6 months ago.

Stopped in for a quick bite at lunch. The entire dining area was filled.The food was amazingEasily the best hamburger and steak fries I've had form very long time. I luckily work just of the street and will eat here often
Wife and I ordered Cheeseburgers and split an order of fries. I got a Double Cheeseburger with everything and it was messy and excellent. All the food is cooked to order so it is fresh and hot off the grill. The fries are thick cut so a few go a long way. It is a hang out for the locals which tells you the food has to be good. Add this to your list when visiting Oxford.

Food is good but terrible customer service. They have never once answered the phone during anytime of the day or week, and I've lived in oxford for 6 years. It's ridiculous!! One of the workers told me that they unplug the phone if it starts to get even a little busy. If you want okay food and an extremely inconvenient experience then this is the place for you! Don't recommend. Not at all a surprise that so many people don't even know what or where it is. It's 2023, time to evolve people.

A couple of friends recommended for me to come to Handy Andy for lunch and try their burgers and last week I did.It's located on North Lamar just past the Beacon and is a real hole in the wall type of restaurant. The restaurant shows on its outdoor sign that they serve burgers and bbq. Parking is alongside the building and good luck if they are busy which they usually are. I arrived on Friday at about 11:30 a.m. and it got really busy shortly after that. When you walk inside you realize the owners must be all about the food because they surely aren't into interior decorating! That's okay because Handy Andy's has become somewhat of a famous eatery for locals and students who are in the know.I ordered a double burger dressed and with no cheese and added a side dish of bqq beans. With a soft drink and tax my bill was $13.48. Very reasonable. The cashier told me that their fries were frozen out of the bag type but their beans were homemade.My food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. I started with a couple of spoonfuls of the beans and oh my, my were they good. They had a rich and robust flavor to them. My double burger (2 quarter-pound hand formed patties) was delicious. Plenty of nice tasting beef on a good bun. It was a solid burger. I'm not sure how much bbq this restaurant serves or its quality but I can tell you the their hamburgers and beans are well worth the trip here. I can see why this place has become so popular. I want to return.

This was our first time to Handy Andy's and it was excellent! They make a great smash burger. I can understand why people wait to eat at Handy Andy. The building is nothing to look at, but I'm much more concerned about great food and that's what they offer.
