My all-over experience was exceptionally bad. Dinner prices were over priced for the quantity and most of all the quality. Food was not cooked enough and served luke warm, appetizer was actually "silly" regarding the price...a very small stuffed mushroom cut into 4 pieces!

The entree and appetizer was phenomenal. The bread pudding was horrible. It’s my favorite desert and unfortunately for them i can tell when it’s been reheated. Watkins Mule was awesome also.

If I could give Lenora's zero stars I would. The service was bad to start with, the waiter took our drink order, came back and did not even remember who ordered what. We did not see him after we got our drinks for about 20 minutes then he took out food order. We waited for 40 minutes for our food, with no check up or anything. The glasses and plates were still wet, which is lack of effort and poor presentation. After waiting for our food and service, I finally got my food. I ordered the grouper with high hopes, but the fish came out completely cold. I told my server and he looked annoyed and said "I will heat it up for you", meaning they threw my food in a microwave which is so disgusting and still poor service. If they cared I would have receive a new fish. He came back with it two minutes later "heated up" I have never been so disgusting by a place before. I try to give it second chances all the time and I am unsure why because it always disappoints. If you are in Oxford this is the last place on the square you should eat.

Dark/damp and dusty atmosphere. Wow my asthma went whacko. Dark doesn’t make quaint. That food - yuck. The asparagus was as thin as pencil lead and just laid there. That steak was gross and undercooked and no seasoning but I guess if you throw a Pat of butter on it-it’s all good, waiter and staff and drunk college kids were annoying. Obviously they are preferred clientele-whoa the food you brought than was clearly obvious. The drunk girls were falling in and out of the kitchen. But the brawly guy who kept pulling the brown curtain tried to hide them. Oh and no warning that vaping allowed all around you. I have asthma. Newsflash. Not everyone wants smoke blown at them. As we left, they were practically begging us to please come back. It also was strikingly obvious. This is clearly a high prices bar with junk food. The price is high though. Only thing good about dinner was Ole Miss football on the TV beating LSU. Underage drinking - hmm better check those IDs. Kids were saying they were 20.

Do not recommend this place to anyone ever. Terrible service run by a bunch of high schoolers who don’t know a thing about customer service. I have serious questions for management for allowing idiots to run this restaurant. Made a reservation 1 month in advance and they double booked it and pushed back my table two hours and made me wait another 45 minutes. Terrible. They do not honor anything and it was pointless to even plan a reservation because it meant nothing! You would think they would understand that they were double booked a month out instead of an hour before I show up to my dinner. A dinner that I planned my whole day around and had friends flights planned on. Highly do not recommend. Go anywhere else. AWFUL.

Food took two hours to receive. Overall restaurant is very dark, and it is too cold. Server didn't bring more bread to the table. I got the red snapper plate, and I am very displeased and saddened by the flavor. All of the food was overcooked and chewy. The green stuff was extremely salty. The fish was a little burnt and not seasoned. The potatoes were not seasoned and slightly dry. The tomato topping was too vinegary. Overall, this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at for the price. Also, nothing is dietary restriction friendly, and the seating is pretty cramped.

I have always loved the food at Lenora's, but the service is now very subpar. I took friends from out of town there - we had reservations at 7:00pm. There was one large table, folks at the bar and very few others. My best friend and her twin 13 year olds went through 4 bread baskets and did not receive food until 8:30 - 1 & 1/2 hours later, after several requests. The filets arrived with butter on top which could not melt as the food was so cold. It was sent back to get warmed up - but still came out barely heated. Total embarassment on my part for recommending this place. We were offerred free dessert - which I don't eat and which we were all too tired to enjoy. Such a disappointment

Salmon dinner (gluten-free) over cheese grits with grilled asparagus. The light glaze on the salmon was slightly sweet and delicious - One of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. The server was friendly, attentive, and sharp. Also, I liked the low lighting and the atmosphere that's very conducive to good eating and socializing.

We went on a Thursday night, and didn't have a reservation, but we got a table by the front entrance/walkway. The service was a little bit sloe, but friendly. The food was very good. We would recommend the duck !
