Mamma jo’s is some of the best country cooking that I’ve ever tasted. Like my grandmother use to say. There must be magic in those pans. Took my daughter there who attends Ole Miss against her will and she loves it also. It’s a must try. Sweet sweet lady who knows what she’s doing.
Down home country cooking. The real deal. The place is a bit run down but somehow that's more fitting for this kind of good. Nothing fancy, but as close as you'll get to home cooking. Cornbread was amazing, as w were the mashed potatoes.
Heard about this place from a friend that works in construction, he said this was a great Lil’ home cooking place. It’s kinda well hid- the sign ain’t too big- but it makes up for it with the food. Really GOOD home cooked plate lunch!
