Never left a yelp review before, ate dinner tonight at Ok Maguey and had a great time. Excellent service and great food and margaritas. I saw a few negative reviews before going so I was a bit hesitant to try it out but my experience was nothing but awesome. Really well decorated as well. Will for sure be back for the drink deals.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Oxford. Great prices for food and drinks, and chips and salsa are included. Big menu with lots of options. Now, as someone from New Mexico and who has a Mexican mom, I am particular about my Mexican food. So much so that I usually don't go out for it in most parts of the country, and keep a stash of hot New Mexico chile (both red and green) in a freezer at home. The food is great and the service is excellent. The atmosphere could be better if they would advertise. I went here to eat after an Ole Miss game. It was empty. I know that their name isn't on the sign by the Jackson Ave traffic light where Walmart is advertising. I recommend mailing out coupons to draw a crowd. A live band on a Saturday night the parking lot is big enough to set up a stage. Just something I think would help.
