Fat Larry's does exactly what it says on the tin. Good music, good food and good drinks. We visited twice, once for dinner when there wasn't a band on and once just for drinks when there was a band on. Dinner was great, I would recommend the meatballs, they were really good, and very filling. The music night was also very good. It was busy at the bar as you would expect but not uncomfortably so. The barman had a tendency to serve his friends before others and leave you hanging, but hey ho that's how it goes. It certainly wasn't enough to spoil the night. If you want easy food and drinks and good music, this place is highly recommended.

OMG!! OMG!! Traveled from Navarre, Fl to Ole Miss to hear the Chris Duarte Group @ Proud Larry's on the Square as a one year celebration anniversary of a successful medical event last year. Ordered their Bacon, Cheddar & grilled Chicken salad and it was honestly, the absolute best salad ever!!! Kyra was the sweetest & most professional wait staff ... ask for her! If you are in Oxford, for whatever reason, drop by Proud Larry's ... awesome salad, great atmosphere and friendly folks with Mississippi southern charm!

Just ordered a Philly cheese steak from her and it has no steak no peppers no onions and very very little cheese come on now if your workers can't cook why do you have them it is a very simple sandwich and you screwed it up so bad that it's inedible do better just like all oxford restaurants you're crap and will never spend money with you again

We were seated around 3pm on a Saturday. No wait. After being seated, two more parties were also seated in the same section. After 10 minutes, our server finally came to get drink orders, taking ours last. The food was OK. Its been a couple of years since we last came and it will be our last. $11 for frozen mozzarella sticks? We watched the employee with the backwards white baseball cap play on his phone and then continue making pizza which was disgusting. Also, a clear view of the kitchen staff munching on fries while cooking. This place has gone downhill.

This is probably the worst place to eat in Oxford. I went two weeks ago, food was average, takes two hours to get it. Seems crazy, but gave the benefit of the doubt to them. Go back because some friends wanted to have it. We wait an hour. I get this burger, that had an entire bottle of Worcestershire sauce poured on top of it. They said, “it’s normal”. Well the burger ordered next to me didn’t have any and on the menu it says it doesn’t have any. It was so bad one bite made my mouth burn for an hour. They make a new one, explain the first one is bad because I ordered it medium rare? So I get a new one and they said they made it medium-well, so “it would be better”. This burger comes out, the outside is browned, I take one bite… the inside is literal raw, ground beef. I like rare burgers normally, this was raw. I had a time crunch because these two awful burgers took 1&1/2 hours to make. I left and now feel terrible. 0/10, don’t recommend.

Had checked in with party of 8. Gave phone number for the call back. Waited 45 minutes and went back in since I had not heard anything. They then told me it was cancelled. They didn't even bother to call or text and let me know this. Never again.

The food was great! The price of the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries was worth every penny. I forgot the name of my server but he was very polite, and professional! I would highly recommend stopping here for a bite.
