“My first visit happened to coincide with Parents Weekend at Ole Miss. The wait time was excruciating, and the service was slow but the food was worth it. The hostess and the wait staff are super friendly - just a bit overwhelmed.
I had the Secret History Omelette with Bacon and biscuit. The omelette and the biscuit were delicious. The bacon! Holy Cow (or is it holy pig?) THE BACON! The bacon is MAGICAL!
When I asked the secret behind the bacon, they told me- a dry rub of crushed to Tabasco peppers and brown sugar, smoked to perfection!
I came back the following weekend and the wait time was a lot better, as was the wait time for the food. We had the Pain Purdue (the world’s best French Toast!
The bacon was so good, I purchased a frozen package of it to take home with me back to Connecticut!
Outside seating is dog friendly.“
