Snackbar never disappoints. It is without question one of the best restaurants in the south. Cocktails are top notch, the food is spectacular and unique and Chef Bhatt shows off everyday why he deserved a James Beard award. A trip to Oxford can't be without a dinner at Snackbar.

The hostesses did an excellent job of getting us seated very early for our reservation time - and everything went excellently from there. Food and service were awesome, we will certainly return....btw, that amberjack was absolutely amazing‼️

Our meal was fantastic, the waiter, very knowledgeable and the ambience was great. It was our first time at snack bar. The last in our list to complete of the Oxford, Currance restaurants.

Food was very salty and several of us did not eat much of our food and didn't bother taking it home. And that was different plates ordered. That was a huge disappointment. Service was great. Sad I probably won't go back because of the food though.

I have been eating here since it opened. I can remember one not so good experience. Last night was wonderful as usual and my steak was perfect. The Butter Chicken was delicious and that Banana Foster was over the top. Another great evening at Snackbar. Oh, the oysters!

Love the place, yet two of us ordered the chicken special, and it was grossly undercooked. Undercooked chicken is inedible, or at least it should be. Love their bar, but I would not dine there again.

We are moving back to Oxford full time after split time between her and the Birmingham area. B’ham has a dynamic food and restaurant scene. James Beard winners all over the area. What the don’t have is our Beard winners and their gift of innovavations of new and exciting flavor profilesOur server,Tara, was very attentive and her wealth of knowledge successfully paired all 4 of us with exactly why we wanted. Roasted root vegetable Chaat,Veal Marsala, Pork Shank and the Green Marsala chicken.Bonus was the Banana FosterChess pie. Couple that with a French Press coffee and it was the end of a perfect dinner with friends.Hungry for more?

A creative blend of Southern and Indian with a nod to both cultures. Creative menu composition and an excellent drinks menu. We ate here our last evening in town and only wished they were open for lunch before we had to leave town. We will most certainly eat here again.

The butter chicken was exceptional last night! In fact, everything was dialed in from the cocktail special, small plates, and dessert. Thank you all for such a lovely dining experience.

15/10!! Went for brunch at Big Bad Breakfast and was lucky enough to be sat at Snackbar. Maggie and Trip were awesome and made us feel so welcomed, they shared the Snackbar menu and we decided to go back for dinner. Every single thing we ate and drank, and every employee we interacted with was top notch. Some of the best oysters we’ve ever had, the mushrooms and French onion soup were phenomenal and the whiskey sours were some of the best I’ve ever had. It was the highlight of the trip, literally cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful experience, we always do! We came for my birthday and they were all so kind. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived and they gave us some Prosecco while we waited. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful.

The food was creative, fresh, and tasty. It was my birthday and the staff went above and beyond coordinating it with my wife including a personalized, signed copy of Chef Bhatt's cookbook!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience on our two year anniversary here last night. From start to finish, Snackbar never disappoints. Anna Lee was our server, and her service was impeccable! The cocktails were thoughtful and delicious. We felt special and so well taken care of! The grilled cobia was out of this world. The entire experience was 100/100! Get to snackbar asap!

Chef Vish is a culinary magician! We've eaten here many times and have never had a mediocre, much less bad, meal. Days before we celebrated our anniversary here, I emailed them asking for a special dessert and they made it happen!

Restaurant was packed while we were there. So service was a little slow but mostly comfortable. In one instance, I was served a bottle of ginger ale without a glass. I had to wait about 10 minutes before I received a glass. Nonetheless server was very friendly .
