We had such a wonderful dinner at Tarasque Cucina to celebrate my daughter’s 11th birthday. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff made us feel right at home.
The butter noodles were absolutely delicious, rich, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We also loved the spaghetti and the shrimp Alfredo. Both were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The hummus was one of the best I have had in a long time. I am a big fan of hummus so my standards are high and this truly impressed me.
The covered patio was very relaxing and pleasantly cool for a summer evening. My birthday girl enjoyed every moment and felt so special.
Two entrees and an appetizer were more than enough for our family of two adults and two kids. When we brought leftovers home, my husband and I were practically fighting over who would get the shrimp Alfredo. Everything was just super delicious.
The owner was such a wonderful lady and the server was amazing, constantly checking to see if we needed refills or plates cleared from the table. Their attentiveness made the evening feel even more special.
Parking is a little different than most restaurants as you might need to park in the next lot over and walk, but that is simply because the area is busy which is a good sign.
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We highly recommend Tarasque Cucina and will definitely be back.

Today was our first visit. Food quality was excellent! Well seasoned and large portions! But, for the price, would have expected table service vs counter ordering. Atmosphere is nothing special. The Spaghetti and Rigatoni were delicious! The Tiramisu was tasty but not traditional. It had the texture of banana pudding and it is made with vanilla wafers vs lady fingers. We will definitely visit again.

They are the most incredible team with amazing food. They helped create the perfect environment for a private wedding dinner and it was beyond wonderful. Aside from that evening, every time we eat there it’s always a wonderful dish to try with inveeeinle flavors. Highly, highly recommend this gem in Oxford.

We had our wedding dinner at Tarasque at the end of May, it was 26 people and it was amazing, as always. I cannot express enough how wonderful every one was and how grateful we are for their service. The only thing my husband and I wanted out of our wedding was a quick ceremony and food from Tarasque. I literally planned our wedding around the students being gone and Tarasque being available.
We live in Wisconsin but my parents are still in Mississippi so whenever we have the opportunity to drive through Oxford, we eat here or pick up a massive take away order to freeze.
Lauren, John, and the team at Tarasque is one for the books. Please do yourself a favor and grab your favorite bottle of wine and have dinner with them. You will not be disappointed.

One of my favorites in Oxford. Perfect blend of casual but with a fine dining quality Italian. You order up front, seat yourself inside or outside under bistro lighting. My personal favorite is the butter bean hummus! Located directly behind Kiame’s package store, you can conveniently brown bag your favorite wine to go along with your favorite pasta!

The food was pretty good. All the pastas were really tasty, but the chicken in my chicken parm was slightly overcooked and pretty tough, but it was still good and i finished it. The servers were really nice and attentive. The outdoor seating was kinda in an alleyway, but they did a really good job and was a great day for sitting outside. Would come again
