Joel, is an absolute hot head. Tried to scam me out I’d buying him new towels and sheets. We never dirtied them. I have proof in pictures.

He also said I owed him well over 300 Bucks for the replacement sheets alone. I offered to take to bleach, dry clean, and he wouldn’t even consider my offer.

He just wanted free money as the Ravine is a failing business in the middle of nowhere.

He also got mad after I said the aforementioned details, refused to give my girlfriends $500 makeup bag, to which i had to contact Authorities to get him to give it up.

Joel is a terrible host and he then decides to threaten my physical house after he realized that he had been defeated

Ravine is an absolute gem in Oxford and Chef Joel Miller has created something very special. Last night was my family’s second adventure at the restaurant and it was wonderful. The chef got us started with an amuse-bouche, a tasty croquette. We followed with the same appetizers as our previous visit--beef tenderloin mini-burgers on yeast rolls with red onion jam and bleu cheese, along with sautéed brussels sprouts with shallots, parmesan, and bacon. We could have made a meal on either of them. Really outstanding. The white bean and chorizo soup that followed was excellent. We all went our separate ways with our entrees and I chose the NY strip with grain mustard herb butter and accompanied by potato gratin. The extent to which steaks are prepared and grilled can be all over the map but this was perfectly done to my taste. I love French wines and we chose the Chateau Greysac and it was a real find for us all. This is only the second time I have been to Oxford in 40 years and southern hospitality was on full display. I struck up a conversation with the lovely lady whose art adorns the walls of Ravine and was very pleased to learn that she is Joel’s mother. She was accompanied by her husband Jack Stubbs and local legends Pat and Patty Tatum. A great and enjoyable evening in every respect!

its more of 4.5 star. Its a very nice restaurant in all of oxford, the service is very nice. The small shrimp dish we had was a bit salty. Its a nice restaurant for a special occasion.

The food was pretty good, let's say above average. We were, however, seated next to a table of drunken women who ruined the evening. It got so bad that other guests were apologizing as they exited. We left without finishing our final course and skipped dessert. Our experience seemed to go unnoticed by the staff though. Unfortunate at that price point for sure!

I’m a Sous chef in town. This is where I go to feel like I’m having a nice meal. Consistent, delicious and the servers know their menus. Best all around dining experience in oxford.

Simply the best meal I had while visiting Oxford for several days. Definitely make a reservation. It’s a very charming home atmosphere with very attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. The food - in short is incredible. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. They even make their salad croutons fresh once you order - yeah they are awesome! Try at least one dish from every course offering. The portions are perfect - not too big so you don’t feel too full even after several courses. I had probably the best Mac n cheese I ever tasted, followed by salmon with a sauce that I wanted to eat by the spoonful. And the desserts are everything you them to be.If I lived in Oxford this would be my go-to place. Overall a wonderful experience. And if you’re limited on time or money when dining in Oxford make this the top of your list. I ate at another famous restaurant in town and it wasn’t nearly as good as Ravine.

I have definitely had better when it comes to fine dining being from New Orleans but with that said, most everything was delicious. Thanks for the wonderful meal.
