Wanted to try Volta for a while finally went today and ordered chicken souvlaki which is typically chicken served on a skewer which is what souvlaki means but got a chicken gyro instead the sauce on the gyro was watery and just gross. As a Greek person I’m honestly disappointed and disgusted.

Worst place I’ve ever been in Oxford. Horrible food, honestly like a joke. I feel sick 20 minutes later

One of my favorite casual places to eat in Oxford. The outside patio is the best place to sit on a cool fall day.. Their wraps and salads are the best..not to mention their margaritas!

The best gyro in Oxford❤️
The lamb/beef gyro was awesome!
Sat outside and enjoyed the food and a cocktail. Food was good like always. Really enjoy the appetizers. Check it out next time you are in the neighborhood.
Volta is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Oxford! Fantastic Mediterranean Food, great service, and funky vibes and atmosphere. Plenty of fantastic vegetarian options. Go for their famous 2-for-1 Margaritas Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Get there early if you want a seat on their deck!
They served us several items made in burnt oil. It reeked. When we asked about it they said they don’t change it until the next day so we could take the fries made in burnt oil or not (it was 7pm).
Manager (?) came over and was terribly rude about it. I’m stunned - we loved this place before. Not sure what has changed.
Fast service and good food.

I was not a huge fan of the frozen mojito but the gyro was delicious! I added extra olives and red onion with a side of hummus. So so delicious

Food was good. Margaritas were orange juice. Service was decent until the end. Waiter took drink, appetizer, and dinner orders. Other servers delivered orders. Waited approximately 30 minutes for check. A $5.00 “surcharge” was assessed. Why? No idea. Been there. Done that. Won’t be back.

Decent food. Good gyros but fries aren’t that good. Good service
Delicious, fresh Greek food. Appetizers like labneh and hummus and gyros sliders to soups and salads to souvlaki and lamb/beef gyros. Portions are very large and could easily be shared. Alcoholic beverages and desserts are also available. Service was great. Wheelchair accessible. Parking is a little limited during peak times.
