Little local diner that has good home-cooked meals. I ordered the Wednesday lunch special and got a fried pork chop mashed potatoes and fried okra plus sweet tea and a brownie for $16! The food was good and so was the service but the value for the money is incredible!
Hot, fresh, and filling. Place was packed at lunch. Very down-home Southern feel to the place. Best fried okra I have had in ages. Shrimp salad left a lot to be desired (lettuce, tomato, grilled shrimp, and dressing).
The burgers are amazing! Get your money's worth. The staff was good as well. This restaurant needs a makeover Big time! The restroom was filthy, holes in the walls smelled, and the dining room needed a deep cleaning. Tables sticky the menu have leftovers on them. Floors nasty. Outdated badly. Sad to hear the old man I use to always see there years ago had recently passed. I hope the grandson Josh steps up and clean this place up bring it back to its glory I'm sure it...
