After seeing the King Cake shake online, I needed to try it. Persuaded hubby to get dinner here, a 35 minute drive from home. The shake was delicious! The food was good and fresh. My only complaints were: between the person in front of us receiving their order and us receiving our order, the wait was a bit long. And secondly, they do not have the option to add lettuce or tomato to your sandwich.
Edit: When we went, I asked what all came on the cheeseburger. I did not specifically ask if they had lettuce and tomato, but thanks to the owner’s reply, I know now that they do have these toppings and will definitely be coming back for more!

There is no atmosphere!!! Lol. It is an old fashioned drive up and order at the window place. The kids were not overly friendly but certainly not rude. No complaints about their service. I can only speak to the ice cream..... it was fabulous! I wish I had a picture of my dad literally wearing his banana split! It was overflowing with goodness!! They have MALT!!! I rarely find malt! It was a treasured family moment!

While the chili cheese burgers and fries are a bit simple and small by today's standards, they still hit the spot for a classic drive in. But the real star is the ice cream! Make sure to get a chocolate and vanilla swirl cone. Easily the best soft serve I've ever had!

The burgers were so good I wished I had gotten 2 but didn’t want to go back looking greedy 😂 will be back for more. Only minor complaint is the hot dog warmer in the window could use a cleaning, was going to get a hotdog until we noticed the grime on it. Prices were great as we got two burgers, fries and a float for the price of 1 burger in VA. (~$14)
