Tay’s BBQ owner was a client so I opted to try out the joint and take some home to my family. I tried the pulled pork, brisket and chicken thighs— and man was it worth it. It was not pricey, as a matter of fact, I got a weeks worth of food for what the “picnic” meal cost at the local chain in Gulfport. Totally worth the visit if you want old school barbeque the way they did it before it was an art. Just real smoked meat. The staff were super friendly, they talked highly of the owner and they were happy to be there. That says mountains to the owner and the establishment. 100/10 recommend. No photos because I just finished it!

The ribs were too well done really burnt. I wanted chicken breast but they only had legs. I took wings & they had no taste. They weren't smoked. Not too much choice of sides. I don't like ordering at a counter. I prefer full service at the table. Not going back.

This place is a gem I swear its the best bbq around
I ordered pull pork sandwich and 4 piece hot wings and the sandwich was pretty good but with the sauce was less dry and very taste. The wings were not spicy and the ranch was not the best. Overall I enjoyed the service and atmosphere, and the pulled pork with the sauce was very good and I only spent 10-20 dollars

Super disappointed with my interaction at Tay’s BBQ today. I stop every year from out of State for the bread pudding. However this year when I asked to purchase a pan of bread pudding (which is 12 single order slices @ $2.99 each = $35.88 total) I was told that it would be $45.00. But if I wanted to buy 12 pieces (a whole pan @$2.99 each) I could get it in 12 separate boxes. I left with only one slice. It’s very disappointing as I look forward to this every year. Also the staff tried to explain to me that it cost more to make a pan (12 slices) than it does for 12 individual slices. While saying on the phone that I obviously don’t get it. This was for a personal purchase not for a catering.

A long time classic local BBQ joint with incredible food! Just down the road from Jimmy Buffett beach (Pascagoula is JB’s hometown) and a very cool ship museum! Lots of awesome thrift stores in the area too! The ribs are some of the best you will ever have!

Chicken was dry and overcooked, they'd already pulled the sweet tea an hour and 15 minutes before close. Had the brisket before and is always tough. Chopped of cou,they don't offer sliced. Not sure how they're still open, have to be hemorrhaging $.the Mac and cheese, as well as their sauces are good
good bbq. nice staff. coleslaw was not sweet like i prefer but it was still good.
Food was cold not good and kinda expensive I expected great food but instead should of we t to McDonald will not be back
