Great food and friendly staff
Great food and friendly staff
Hostess was rude, but seated us promptly. After sitting for over 25 minutes, with several waitresses bussing tables around us and taking care of other tables, we decided to leave. In the 25 minutes we'd been sitting with two hungry children, no one took a drink order, apologized for the wait, nothing. Of course, everyone was apologetic as we were leaving, as well as playing the blame game
Great food. The service is awesome and very friendly. Had multiple dishes to try some of everything and nothing was bad or even just ok. It was all amazing. Definitely a place to stop for any tourist if your looking for real southern food and a beautiful place to eat it. Will definitely be going back asap. Best time ever and the waitresses were all so helpful.

Maybe update your hours so people don’t drive all the way there and be told you close in a couple minutes.

This is a (somewhat) new location for a long time restaurant. Very nice update. Food is good and dependable. Service is excellent. Prices are moderate. Like everything else, a good but more than they used to be. Nice menu selection.

I ordered take-out food. I was recommended to this place for
good gumbo. I ordered (2)
quarts of gumbo & (2) lunches.
I had to give the okra to our dog
because it was inferior okra
to begin with...the gumbo was the worst that I've ever tried to eat...whoever cooked it didn't
know or care how to cook. It
hadn't been cooked long enough
had very few shrimp in it, & was
full of oregano, I think...we
couldn't eat it & to make matters
worse, I knew I couldn't take it
back. We live on a fixed income
& I was floored when I received
my bill.. Are you ready??..This
terrible mess cost me almost
$98.00!! That was my grocery $
& now we have no money left for groceries. BTW, I only went
there because my husband is
sick & disabled & it is very hard
to find something that he can &
will eat; I knew that he would
eat a good gumbo. I am left with
a bad impression on any
restaurant food right now.
