If you want to feel like you're on vacation at the beach, just go to Bacchus and sit at the open air bar. The Gulf view is spectacular, the drinks are amazing, the firecracker shrimp was so yummy, and the charbroiled oysters were out of this world! It's an amazing place to spend a lazy, beachy, tropical afternoon!

We stopped in during Cruising the Coast. I never really expect much during festivals because of the usual chaos. This was a surprise! We sat at the outside bar. My husband and I split the Debris poboy. The staff were professional and engaging. The food came out fast and delicious! With 2 sodas, the check was under $20! Don't know why we never stopped here before.

This place has really gone downhill since our visit last year. The service at the outdoor bar was good and thats the only positive. Ordered a half dozen raw oysters and they were pitiful. A couple of them were almost meatless and the rest were very skimpy. Very dirty in the bar area and beseiged by fruit flies. Not an enjoyable experience.

A must visit for the Pass!
Outstanding restaurant with large range of seafood options as well as other choices. Especially recommend charbroiled oysters and the bread pudding- which we came for- but we also had fantastic jalapeno poppers and sandwiches.
Very attentive , friendly and professional staff. We were seated quickly and visited often.
Recommend very highly!

Usually go to Shaggy’s. We decided to try here. Oysters were good. Appetizers okay. Then the food came. Hair in the food. So sad because it looked great. Service was okay for being so busy. Just messed up a couple of the drinks or forgot them. Sad to say, with the weak stomach, I gagged for almost an hour. A few in the party of ours didn’t even get to eat. I do not foresee going back here.

When it seems like everyone is closed on a Momday, Bacchus says not only are we open, but we have plenty of servers. It's like they are daring people of Pass Christian to come here for dinner. The area is spacious with plenty of places to sit inside and outside. Our food was hit and miss. My burger was good. It was flavorful and a good portion size. While the crawfish etouffee was definitely not your grandma's secret recipe. The other thing, they are not afraid to charge you extra. From the sign on the front door about the extra charge for using a credit card to it will cost extra to have rice for your etouffee.
