What a gem of a spot! Cat Island Coffee offers a cozy, comfortable atmosphere that feels both welcoming and inspiring. The space is tastefully decorated, with walls lined in framed book posters that give it a unique, artistic charm. It’s clearly a place that values both community and creativity. My drink was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. While I didn’t stay for lunch, the menu looked fantastic—plenty of tempting options I’ll be back to try. The shelves are stocked with a great selection of books for all ages, including a sweet children’s section. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying a peaceful moment alone, this locally owned and operated café has something for everyone. I saw people of all ages relaxing, reading, and connecting. Highly recommend stopping by—Cat Island Coffee is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

There are a few great coffee shops along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Cat Island Coffee Shop ranks near the top. The coffee and Lattes are great but the views of the MS sound are what sets it apart. The seating is limited but we have always had a place to sit and an excellent experience. It's a great place to stop off when driving the beach on a pretty day.

I'm from Seattle, home to Coffee and I'm pretty picky about it. I've been to Gulfport a handful of times and just discovered Cat Island Coffee on my last visit. I'm in LOVE! I let my daughter in on the treasured coffee house as an amazing little place for studying. I'll be back next time I'm there.

An oasis on the coast! Very nice and relaxed cafe with a view of the sea. A library is closed and the selection of books has to do with the place, the history and the food. Very “European” if one may say so. I would have liked to have spent more time there...
