I attended the wine pairing event held on Oct 20 and Oh My Goodness! It was filled with nothing but goodness!!! I have eaten at my fare share of “fancy” restaurants that served excellent food but this experience was up there as one of the best yet! The chef’s choices for each of the five courses were so good and the wine chosen for each just accented the flavors. I have eaten at Hook a number of times of their regular menu and have never been disappointed but I would also highly recommend one of their special events🥰. The entire place is welcoming and a great value with EXCELLENT food and drinks!!

I had the triple tail fish over spinach and sweet potato fries and the peanut butter cake they had for desert. All I can say about everything we ate is wow! And Ty was our server who was also excellent service. Can't wait to eat here again. Hats off to the chef!

Super friendly people. Great food, and sometimes great service speed. The people are always working hard but sometimes it’s a little slower in here but they always try to quickly get stuff out.

Kid-friendliness: Have a good sized kids menu with burgers and such

Our first visit......very good! We had wraps, the tiger shrimp was delicious! French fries just the way we like them.

Best food during our vacation!

Third time's the charm!
We enjoyed their take on the fried green tomatoes! Our blackened chicken dish was very tasty. However, we had to send it back twice. First, because it had a long hair in it.....second time because the chicken was so tough it was hard to chew.

We sat outside...... watchout for the flies

Outstanding food and service!! 10 stars!

Food was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned! We decided to sit outside . Server wasn't very informative, never got her name. Halfway through our meal she disappeared as the inside seating got a little busy. The busser basically took over our table. My wife had to ask for the dessert menu because it wasn't offered. I had to go inside and find our bill when we were ready to leave.
All in all I think we just had the wrong server that day and the quality of the food will tempt us back at some point.

Wish I Lived Here - flew down from CO and after four days of driving the Gulf Coast, enduring a lot of overpriced, mediocre places with 1000 things on their menu it was a delight to stumble across a very simple, excellent restaurant like this one
Also, give Joseph a raise! He’s amazing ?
