I got the roast beef po boy with no gravy and it was a very dry poboy maybe better with the gravy on it but I don't like gravy so... then when I paid for it the thing ask for a tip but they don't bring the food or drinks too you so I don't understand that part. Nice place though and nice people so that is always a plus

The best Roast Beef, Poboy's east of the Mississippi. Everything is good but you have to try the Roast Beef.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with a small arcade for them to play in.

Local Dive in Pass Christian, MS. Dark and I mean dark gravy on the FF. Large Shrimp PoBoy is supreme. Long time favorite. Worth the drive. Easy to locate and park.

Onion rings tasted like rancid fish.
Hamburger po boy no better than a crappy gas station burger.
Counter staff not friendly. However the manager was professional. He promptly gave me a refund.

As always, Pirates Cove never disappoints. Best Po-Boys you can get. They just don't miss a beat! I almost hate to tell you to go because I don't want to wait in line...... but yeah, you should go. My brother was here all the way from Montana. One of his must do things is ALWAYS a Pirates Cove Po-Boy. And why aren't the Oyster Po-Boys on the choices below? They are the best on earth!
Parking: Even a bus could park here.
Kid-friendliness: Game room casual atmosphere

Once a year I come from another state for the famous roast b free effort poboy.
Not great anymore.
Meat too thick and too chewy. Different taste.
Ok but...not the same.

We've eaten here numerous times over the years. It used to be really good, about 2 years ago it got NEW owners, each time we have been in the last 2 years, the amount of meat or shrimp or oysters has gotten less and less. Another couple years and it will be a bread only sandwich. Even though the meat gets smaller and smaller, the price gets bigger and bigger. Today, we had a roast beef poboy and a fried shrimp poboy, onion rings x 1 & 1 iced tea. $41. Today was our last time there. BTW the service was good.
