The food was simply incredible - the burnt ends were beyond delicious, and I couldn't get enough of the heavenly peach sauce! Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me wanting more. We traveled from Pensacola, Florida to dine at this fine establishment. Been following SaltPepperOak for months on Tiktok. Vincent puts his soul into his place of work which is more like his second home. There's no guessing what your plate may look like when eating here. The magic unfolds infront of you as he prepares your feast before you on a platter. His whole crew working there are great people. You feel family vibes among them which is beautiful. The bbq is beautiful. I've had good bbq at other places, but this place my friends is great bbq. Ordered the three meat plate. Ribs, brisket, burnt ends and added sausage. Everything was full of flavor. Brisket was moist and tender. In house made beef sausage was wonderful. Burnt ends are great! Potato salad and mac n chesse were awesome sides. We have traveled throughout the US and have been to many BBQ joints. I'm also an avid cook/foodie. This place rocks! We had brisket, sausage, pork belly and turkey. All of the meats were excellent! Sides were good but the brisket and sausage stole the show! Customer service was great! We even met the owner and his buddy, and got a tour of his pits. Great experience. Small place in Pass Christian that packs a powerhouse punch when it comes to barbecue. Most barbecue places slather their meats in the sauce (I guess they're not confident in their own abilities), but this place does it right! Sauces are available but very little to none was needed for the delicious turkey sandwich I ordered. 4 good thick slices cut and ohso tender. As you can see for Salt Pepper Oak Craf, barbecue is a serious business!
He's only been open a year still has a lot to learn. When it comes to barbecue seasoning , and even the barbecue sauces that are time , it will become a wonderful place. Right now It's good barbecue if you i'm hungry.

Had the pleasure of trying one of everything on the menu today. The meats were smoked to perfection, brisket was killer, sausage and smoked pork belly were wonderful, the bird was seasoned and smoked wonderfully nice and juicy, pork spare ribs were smoked great and paired really well with the Carolina gold sauce as well as the vinegar based sauce. Baked beans and mac&cheese were my favorite sides for sure. Potato salad was gd and im not big of coleslaw in general, but it had a gd flavor to it. Definitely will be back again when I'm passing through.

Ashley does a great job running the kitchen-and wow every plate of Nachos looks like art. The rest of the team is hardworking and customer focused! The BBQ is great!-The sides are great! But man the star of the show(unexpected at a BBQ joint) is the Cheesecake-very unique and light cheesecake that is the best I've had-Job well done by their in-house baker-Claudea!.
