This place is a hidden gem. Our server was Alexa, and the service was great! We ordered the firecracker shrimp. It was delicious, and the other food items looked good also. We will be returning!

Savory Roots was such a friendly and inviting spot. Loved the look and the staff was very nice. The food was not quite as good as the service and atmosphere. Pulled pork was fine. The shrimp tacos were also fine, but the tortillas were pulled right out of a bag and not heated at all. Coconut pie crust on bottom was almost raw, but flavor of the filling was great. Grilled cheese was only really cooked on one side. I had to throw it back in the pan when I got home and it was much better. There was also a hair in the tacos. It happens, I guess. Gave it 3 stars since we got the food to go and spent minimal time in the store.

the best 3 burgers on the coast and add sweet potato fries for a buck......outstanding.........and dog friendly outdoors

Kid-friendliness: They have kid friendly food. I think I haven't been in a while although it says I was there yesterday but I wasn't. I was at my mom's office called gcbc stands for Gulf Coast breastfeeding center. I recommend if you are a mom and you're having trouble breastfeeding your baby go there please. We need more business

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a flat ramp that you can go up on a wheelchair. But before the ramp there are a bunch of rocks or gravel. Same difference Hope this helped

Love the food here!! I always get the fish of the day. It's blackened, served with garlic mashed potatoes and like a gravy sauce--calling it a gravy sauce is very intentional it's a little thicker than a sauce but thinner than a gravy. And brussel sprouts ?. Yumm.

Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly. Small, but kid-friendly.

This is a unique, little restaurant with excellent food and superior ambiance. As soon as I walked in the door and was shown to the room that was exclusively for our eight people birthday party, I knew this was a most unusual place. The food was perfect. I had one of the most delicious smoked tuna dip I've ever had!The waitstaff is superior in every way. Our waitress was efficient, quick to refill water and tea, and waited patiently to get our orders.My only suggestion is to put up a sign indicating which way to go once you park. I circled the parking lot three times before I saw my friend waving at me. I would hate for that lovely, little place to miss even one person.

I ordered the fried chicken breast w gravy on the side, garlic mashed potatoes, and the brussel sprouts for curb side pick up and I AM SO GLAD I DID!! WOW! I have never had brussel sprouts how they make them but they were phenominal!!A+++

my Jumbo shrimp platter was just a lil bigger than popcorn shrimp & they tasted like they were cooked in my cheap airfryer at home .... My 3 year old wouldnt eat her chicken tenders because they were completely dry & overcooked. Service was ok. Just wasnt impressed. The shrimp did not taste good at all & the chicken tenders were horrible.& with 8 people at my table, noone liked the cole slaw... beware: the coleslaw tastes like it has cayene pepper dumped in it...

We had a fantastic time with our server, while enjoying fantastic food and atmosphere. It was easy to feel comfortable talking to an old friend while marveling in the delectable dishes! I reccomend the shrimp nachos as an appetizer but be warned that it's enough to make it hard to finish your meal, even with two people working on them! I'll definitely be back and have nothing but good things to say.
