I visited there last week and the fish, chicken and fries are terrible. Trust me, the pics look way better than the taste. Plus the staff aren’t friendly at all. They take your order and money and never say thank you. Then, i go to eat the trout and catfish and it’s not tasty at all. I was wishing that I had gone to Sam’s Fish on Raymond rd in Jackson. $36 plus dollars wasted because we winded up throwing it in the trash after picking over it. My food is never cooked as I requested. I know I’m the minority but I don’t like hard fish. Every time I go I ask for a soft fry but then I get it and it’s so hard and basically fish skin. The portions are good and the price isn’t bad but it’s a waste of money if I can’t eat it. If I want it done right I have to drive way out to Jackson at another spot but again I’m wasting money at this point
Harveys Fish Hut Too used to be the bomb! But the last couple of times I've gone, the food has been absolutely disappointing. They must have new owners or management or something. I don't see the same staff from before. And also, NEVER have I ever ordered okra and they were out. I knew something was wrong then. I used to go to Harveys almost every Friday evening, but I will be going back! Nah, not for that!
