Could not forget to comment about a terrific restaurant in Pearl,MS. Enroute to Hilton Head Island from Dallas found this place for dinner. Mexican restaurant in Pearl, MS… I know sounds like a setup for a disappointment. Wrong. Jose’s knows Mexican food. Serves it well. Let me start our by saying the experience started at the door! Everything was great! The food was served in a timely manner, hot fresh and seasoned very well! I had the fajitas steak quesidlla. The fact that the cashier was the waitress too! I hope she is appreciated. She was great!! Now on to the drinks? Mango Margarita ? Yesssss I'll be back!!

I rate the tacos I had a 3 only because it did not taste bad. Two of my tacos had more lumps of fat than pork meat. I put the Verde salsa on one of my tacos and almost forgot I had put any. Not much flavor in the carnitas. I tried the red salsa on my taco that is usually served with the chips and a can of tomato sauce came to mind-- not salsa. Now, I can say I liked the rice.
