This was my first experience dining at Toasted Yolk in Pearl, MS, and unfortunately it will be my last. Due to how busy the restaurant was, I chose to sit at the bar. From the beginning, my waitress was not welcoming and gave the impression that she did not want to be there or did not want to serve me.
Before my food even arrived, she brought my receipt. After my order was served, I had to wait for her to return just to receive silverware. At no point did she check to see if I needed anything else. I had to get her attention myself to request another drink.
After finishing my meal, I waited an additional 20–30 minutes just to pay. Once I finally paid, I received nothing more than a half-smile. Overall, the lack of attentiveness and basic customer service made this a very disappointing experience.

The Toasted Yolk has great food menu including alcohol beverages. The atmosphere was nice, clean, and family friendly. It was a very diverse crowd. The meals normal start out about 10-13 per person but some meals are higher. We didn't have a wait time when we arrived at 10am but it closes at 3pm. I would recommend Toasted Yolk Cafe.
